This Fish oil has no fishy burp ups, or after taste. So far so good. I like that they are manufactured here in the USA and that the oil is from cold waters ( Norway, Chile) and the potency is high. It was a concern to me that the product is "heavy metal" free as I have to take 6 - 9 capsules a day( under doctor direction) for weight loss. It sounds strange, but since I have been taking fish oil ( and a very low carb diet - leafy greens, low- fat protein), my thoughts have been more organized,/ my vocabulary- " finding the right word"- has improved and my memory of details, names, lists etc. is better...also...I have lost over 25 pounds and am still going! In addition to all of this great news...my hand joints and shoulders used to feel stiff in the morning when I woke up, but now they feel flexible, and not achy at all. It all may be a big coincidence, but I think this fish oil is helping and it is great!February 1, 2016 - Just an update on this product. This is now maybe my 4th order of this fish oil. It is great! It continues to provide high quality(pharmaceutical grade), high potency and "no after taste" omega 3 fish oil.

First, all Omega-3 products are not alike. Here's what I learned about Omega-3 from my research. The "3" relates to three sources of Omega-3 fatty acids. Two of them, DHA and EPA are found in marine products such as fish and krill. The third source, ALA, is from plants. So with fish oil you are getting two of the three sources at once. That makes sense to me as a good reason to take Omega-3 fish oil. You will also note below that many of the reasons we choose to take Omega-3 do not occur with plant-based products.I have taken fish oil in various forms for most of my life, but it has been difficult to find a high potency one. When I found Brain Power+ and saw that it had double the amount(1500 mg or 1.5 grams) of the high potency capsule I had previously been taking AND I only had to take it twice a day instead of three times I was sold.Now for why we take Omega-3:**There has been modest evidence that taking over 1 gram of Omega-3 fish oil -- and this product gives you 1.5 grams daily -- is helpful with regulating your metabolism (read weight loss); reducing blood pressure; helping with joint swelling, pain and stiffness by functioning as an anti-inflammatory agent; and stronger evidence of Omega-3 helping with depression and reducing the risk of dementia. It is stressed that these results were NOT found from taking plant-based Omega-3 only in DHA and EPA which is found in marine sources. I rarely burp fish oil but Brain Power+ sends out an email to new users that gives so much information including the fact that whether you burp or not has a lot to do with acid reflux, which I didn't know, and that even if you have this condition taking your Brain Power Plus with a meal seems to solve that problem. I would never have thought of that.**Yes, Omega-3 does wonders for your hair and skin which is even more important as you get older and your body starts producing less moisture. That makes this product great for everyone but especially great for those of us who are over 50.**I found the anti-inflammatory aspect of this product to be quite helpful with the joint aches, swelling, and stiffness I had and the torn ligament in my knee healed faster on its own without surgery which I did not want to have. Again I feel that this is due to the much larger dose of Omega-3 in Brain Power+. Please be aware that these results take time for the product to build up in your system.Do not expect results in the fist weeks or two.**While there is evidence for Omega-3 to help with depression this is not an issue for me. It is also helpful with concentration which is a problem for me since I have been taking Omega-3 for quite a few years. But color me surprised to find out that Brain Power+ also helped with my absentmindedness. That would almost qualify as a near miracle! I have been losing things since I was five years old and it has been a standing joke among my friends, who know how bad I am, that they follow me from store to store and pick up what I put down and would forget. They thought it was funny. I have always found it embarrassing particularly in my 20s. But I'm getting better and not forgetting as many things. Woohoo! I attribute that to the impressive 1500 mg of Omega-3 in this product. I've never seen another with this high a dosage and I will sing it's praises as long as I continue to not lose as many thing and remember what it was I went downstairs to get.****As an added note to those who are concerned about getting heavy metals from fish oil it is important to note that heavy metals are stored in fish organs and your better quality Omega-3 fish oils don't use the organs to obtain fish oil. Contacted Customer Support email that night and had a return email the very next day. Super fast response time. The rep said they would send a fresh bottle out with two-day delivery. I have taken Brain Power Plus for more than a year now. I suffer with a Rare Disorder called Small Fiber Polyneuropathy. This is the ONLY product that has had a direct effect on my condition. The high levels of EPA & DHA are the key. EPA has a direct impact on the inflammation and DHA on the pain. THIS PRODUCT WORKS! Short of purchasing a custom-made Pharmaceutical-Grade Omega 3 which is too expensive for the average person to afford, Brain Power Plus makes my condition bearable. Because SFN is rare, the drug companies will not put money into research for a cure or even to help manage it. Brain Power Plus Omega 3 keeps their promise of quality & exceptional product standards. Yes, I have tried an untold number of so-called high-dose EPA/DHA Omega 3 products. I have even purposely created gaps in taking Brain Power Plus, the result was always the same, my condition exacerbated. I would return to this product and within days there is a dramatic difference in my ability & mobility. Doctors NEED to take notice, but until resolution of SFN is a profitable venture for drug companies & the medical community, it will be products such as this one that will be the heroes to those of us who suffer in silence....

I have only used this product for two days so this is a review of my first impressions. I was told by my primary care doctor to start taking fish oil to lower my Cholesterol so I went to Rite Aid to check prices. This product is cheaper and gives more pills with more mg 1000 vs 1500 than the Rite Aid fish oil. I thought that the pills were big when I first saw them. But, I had no trouble swallowing them with a little water. The pills are slippery and I actually had more difficulty swallowing my much smaller Centrum multivitamin pills. I am so happy that there is no fish aftertaste and I shall continue my daily two pill regime and hopefully it will help lower my cholesterol after three months. I am happy with my purchase and am glad that I chose this over cheaper versions of fish oil pills.Its been about 25 days since I been taking these pills and my blood pressure has dropped from 140/85 to 110/82. I also been eating more salads and exercising more. My doctor and I are very happy with the results so far. I sure hope my cholesterol numbers will improve when I get tested again in two months.
