Ibex Merino Wool Women's Izzi Base Layer Skirt

It's nice and thick for winter use. But after washing a few times, it got many tints and looks so used. Can only wear it at home now. Sad because it wasn't cheap;(

Good material, but too short for me.

yes, it's true the waistband is a little thick and difficult to manage, but, it's still a great piece of clothing in that it's wool, it's basic, it's versatile, it wears well, it's made in USA and it's a great travel piece. I've just purchased in another color.

I have read many reviews and was warned about the "thick" waistband. It is a big problem if you have even the slightest pooch. I tried wearing it above my tiny belly pooch - more at my natural waist so the skit would be shorter - i'm only 5'2" and like to wear mid thigh length skirts with tights but that also emphasized the tummy. Worn low directly on my pooch - about an inch below my belly button, the thickness and the construction of the band is awkward and thick looking. I weigh 120 and most people would never know I have a slight tummy - this skirt emphasizes it. Even my kind absent minded husband said to send it back. Sigh. Shouldn't be so hard to find a slight a-line simple wool skirt for a petite woman.Fabric is a nice heavy weight and though wool reminds me a bit of the texture of the heavy double knit of the 70's.

Great skirt, but the size was just a little too tight for this girl with hips. I own it in black and it's very flattering. This color is just a little more revealing.

Great skirt, heavier than smart wool's skirt this season. Looks good with leggings, as well as alone. Very pleased.
