    Used to replace the bite valve on my old USMC hydration system.  Fits perfectly.

Was a perfect replacement for the green bite valve on my old USMC hydration system.  I couldn't find the green ones with the plastic cover anywhere, so I grabbed this one instead.  It's far superior in quality to the original.  Don't worry about the screw-on threads.  It fits tight with no leaks on the smooth end piece.  Actually, it holds on much better, so you can pull the seal open with your teeth, if you want.I think it's a little bigger than the original, so don't expect the green cover to fit.  But if you don't have to match color, it's a perfect replacement, and it's better/bigger/more comfortable than the original.
