Inexpensive, great quality, good looks, fast shipping
I purchased this product for my 2005 Mercury Grand Marquis. After 11 years my OEM antenna had seen better days and was badly bent and unsightly. For the Grand Marquis and Crown Victoria 2005 was the only year that those cars had a fixed mast antenna so I had a hard time finding a replacement mast. First I tried a universal antenna but the reception was very poor so I decided that I needed something better. After a little bit of research I found out that the Mustang has the same threads on the antenna as my Grand Marquis so after a little bit of shopping I came across this antenna. Ill start my review of the product with the shipping. Shipping was lightening fast delivery was promised between March 29th and April 1st but my package arrived March 26th. After the packaged arrived I found that it was excellently packaged and upon further inspection I could tell that this was a quality product. The chrome finish is immaculate and it fit perfectly onto my car. For a 14" antenna the reception is very good, much better than the 14" universal antenna that I was using previously. Although reception is not as good as a full length mast it is much better than expected. I am extremely pleased with this product and I will update this review based on how it holds up over time. But initially I am very impressed with this product.

Had the Steadfast 8 in but I live in smalltown USA so reception was bad (2002 Mustang GT convertible) so I went with the Steadfast 14 in and my reception was as good as my factory flag pole antenna , and it still looks great !

Received it on time when expected. Instructions for removal of the old antenna and installation of the new one are very clear and concise. FM reception is slightly less than it was before the change, but since I hardly ever use the radio to listen to radio stations this isn't a problem. Looks much better than the big 'ole mast that Ford provided.
