Just received, washed, and installed this great set. For the price it is an excellent value, and the soft-feel, and colors were just what we were looking for. This set is certainly not meant to be the center-piece of your bedroom set, but is a great supporting member of the team of shams, skirts, ruffles, and spreads that make the perfect set.We used the cover on a white comforter purchased from JC Pennys. It is the faux down variety, very heavy, and billowy, and thick. It slid in quite easily into the cover, and is secured at the bottom by a hidden hem that contains reverse buttoning button fasteners.Here was where we encountered our first problem. The 2 button holes on the left side were completely sewn shut. This is probably how these are manufactured. However, there is someone using a seam ripper (probably) that goes down the line and opens up the button holes. They missed 2. No reason to freak out, I had a utility knife on me and used it to gently free the stitching to allow the button to go through.The cover was just the right size to accommodate our King size thick comforter. I could see that you may have an issue if your comforter is of a thinner design. The cover is generous, and could probably even accommodate a comforter 1.5 times thicker than ours. There was no obvious dead or flat areas after securing our duvet inside.The shams are of the simple slip in design, and fit standard king pillows perfectly.My overall impression is that some of the stitch work is a bit shabby, but I did NOT have any of the Dark thread some have mentioned here. For the price it is tough to be critical on some of the extremely minor stitching issues. However, I am docking 1 star for the button issue, as this may be a sign of bigger QC issues.

This duvet was perfect for what I was seeking. It is very soft right out of the package, lightweight and the color was dark and bold (I bought it in black). The only thing I don't like much about it, is the buttons on the side closure. They are placed very far apart, so the comforter tends to stick out sometimes. No big deal, but I'm constantly fixing it so that bugs me a little. The shams are actually very large, about 6" longer than my standard pillows.One item of note: this is microfiber, but has more of a "rayon" feel to it. This is not the same type of microfiber on a couch (for example) that's more like fake suede. I initially thought I wanted a flannel or fuzzy comforter for softness, but after reading the reviews here I decided to give this one a try. I'm glad I did.The duvet was easy to slip over my king size comforter and fits perfectly. I have a white comforter with stripes on it, so I feared it would show through the duvet. Even though the duvet is very thin and lightweight, the stripes are not visible through it. I think this duvet looks great on the bed and not cheap looking or feeling at all. However, if you are seeking a thick material, this will not suit your needs. I am very pleased with this product, and would purchase this brand again.

I got this set to cover an older corduroy comforter that I have. The duvet completely transformed the look of the bedding. The fabric is nice. Its soft and sort of plush. The bed is super cozy with this. The pillow cases are the kind that open in the middle rather than on the edge, so the pillow stays in better. The cream color is more beige (toward brown) side, but I was glad that it wasn't on the yellow side. You'll probably want to pair it with some patterned pillow cases to break up the monotony of the plain beige color. I definitely plan to get another set in a different color.The only downside is that the stitching seems a little haphazard and like it could start coming out at any time. There were some loose strings hanging off on the duvet, and the pillow cases tend to draw up along the stitching when you are putting a pillow in... like a draw string on pants. Then you have to stretch it back out to flatten the stitching.

The size wasn't what i needed. It was way too big.

I've been using this duvet cover for a while now, and I love the way it feels. It's very soft and comfortable and works well on my duvet. I've washed it once and it stood up well to washing and drying and was easy to put back on the duvet. My only issue with it is that it has lost some of the buttons during regular use. I think that the buttons need to be larger, or they need to be sewn on better. Other then that it's been perfect.

I must say I am 100% pleased with my purchase of this Gray Duvet cover.It is durable and stays almost wrinkle free... DOES NOT attract or hold cat hair (i have 2 cats... 1 white.. 1 tiger) it fit perfect with an alternative down white comforter that I purchased with it (king). the comforter stays in perfect place without ties.I purchased a King size for my Queen bed and I feel this had a sure bet fit with some extra on each sides.The pillow cases were large (because i ordered the King).The color was exactly as shown, in my case slate gray and went perfect with my gray flannel sheets! anhas the perfect "weight" to itHello NY winter!I highly recommend this Duvet Cover and plan to purchase another one from this same company

$30 bucks for a duvet set! Can't beat it. Looks great once I accessorized it w/ toss pillows and such. Would have given it 5 stars but the closure exposes much of the comforter insert. I just put the bottom on top and rolled the top sheet over it and now even the bottom overhang looks great. DOn't pass this deal up. Also washes and dries very well.

Wonderful duvet cover and shams. Very soft and well made. Really like the way the closure is done. It's about 5 or 6 inches from the edge, some are much further, and the buttons face the inside so are basically hidden. You don't have to worry about your feet or arms or whatever catching in the opening. The color is very nice and consistent throughout. Apparently, I got an amazing deal ($10) as I see it's now selling for much more. Not sure if I would've purchased it for the current price but it would've been worth it.
