Elite quality
First and foremost, exceptionally high quality ingredients. Well received by the fish and if it fits in the fish's mouth, chances are they're happy to devour it. They do sink rather fast, so bottom dwellers tend to get most of it, particularly our Panda Garra, and of course, the Cory-gang. Most shrimp and snails also partake, though that doesn't say much as they aren't fussy and east most anything. I've tried a lot of Northfin products, and while they all have great ingredients, fish typically don't like them and I never buy them again after the one initial container. However, this is their best product I've tried thus far and I'll probably keep buying it [as long as the price doesn't inflate!]. Recommended.

Sinks quickly
I daily morning feed tubifex worms and a kelp wafer. Like the north fin product line for my evening feeding for discus, rams, rummy noses, Cardinal tetra, guppy and cichlids all my fish friends gulp down the food. I like the ingredients believe it’s beneficial to add to a variety diet especially bugs, kelp or krill versus wheat and corn meal as a primary ingredient.Dislike 2mm sink’s rather swiftly actually little to fast for the discus and guppies but they do forage some off the bottom of the tank. Be nice if the food floated down like a feather versus a pebble. Going to try the 3mm version see if it floats longer.

Fishies like
Big and small fishes like them from my blood parrots to my bleeding heart tetras. Only thing is for some reason the black phantom tetras don’t go for it. I think the pieces might be too big for them not sure.

This would be great for medium to larger cichlids, barbs and rainbows
Fish love them and they don’t cloud the water . This is high quality company anyway. They look more like a granule but a little larger . Float for a minute( depends on water flow - mine is high-) then slowly sink , not plummeting like a asteroid to earth. More than I expected . This would be great for rainbow fish, smaller to medium cichlids including Angelfish, medium to larger barbs . Corycat love it .Angelfish is picky and lazy , but will eat it if she doesn’t have to chase it too far ( she’s also fat with eggs ) . It’s a lot that’s why I said it would be good for rainbows ect , depending on how many you could feed 3times a day for a while before having to buy more.

Never seen fish freak out like this over dry food!
My Platies, white cloud minnows, corydoras, betta, and gouramis can eat these, no problem. They are way too big for my Phoenix Rasboras (same size as chili Rasboras). I read that you can crumble them in the product description, but they don't crumble easily. You need to use your nails and a hard surface to break them into small enough pieces for these tiny species. That being said, every fish FREAKED OUT when I put the Bug Pro in the tanks. They gobbled it immediately. I feed them a very varied diet, and I think this might be their new favorite. I will crush up a portion in the mortar and pestle for the tiny fish for ease of feeding.

Initially received this product as an add on for an aquarium shrimp order. Both omnivorous fish and shrimp love this food. Quality ingredients, outstanding results in the health and coloring of the livestock. I truly credit this food for the robust breeding results. The product was packaged well and arrived in a timely fashion. Zero complaints and will definitely purchase again in 6-8 months.
