Koji Liquid Eyeliner, Dark Brown

i bought my first dolly wink eyeliner in dark brown in an airport in japan nearly two years ago and i always seem to reach for this eyeliner. given this was my first repurchase after discovering this eyeliner exists on amazon! on everything, this by far gives the most beautiful and outstanding results. the brush tip and formula are an absolute match made in heaven (but it does disappear after crying) i’ve been trying to find a dupe for the kat von d tattoo liner because she’s anti vaxx lol, but the dolly wink liner being much more affordable and is the perfect shade of dark brown; not being too black nor too brown! please give a try you will be pleased (:

I love dolly wink eyeliner! My kind of liner! I had the black one that I bought at a japanese supermarket, at a higher price. So I'm glad amazon carries them, and at a good deal! Great fine brush, good formula. And it lasts a long time too! My kate von D was great, but it ran out fast. I love Clio brush liner, but the quality is not consistent. I bought a few Clio liners and some ran out quick, while others lasted a long time. I like dolly wink because they all performed the same, and great priceing. It's a staple in my arsenal of eyeliners.

I purchased this product in dark brown because of all the good reviews and I am in love! It's a lot cheaper than the eyeliner that I usually use, which is a huge plus. The brush has a fine tip, so it's very forgiving of unsteady hands. It goes onto the lids very smoothly and is super easy to apply. The color is perfect for those who want more of a natural look. There are a couple reasons why it deserves 4 stars instead of 5, though. The first reason is that I noticed that sometimes it starts to just bleed out the liquid. I will start drawing a line just to end up with a huge brown blotch on my lid. Secondly, I don't use it very often, but the brush started to fray after about 3 months of use, which is a huge step down from my usual eyeliner. Third, the product ran out pretty quickly as well even though I didn't use it very often, also a huge step down compared to my usual eyeliner. For almost half the price of my usual eyeliner, though, this is an amazing eyeliner for the affordable price. I really love this product and highly recommend it. However, be aware of the bleeding and short life of the product.

I’m in my 60s and have a lot of eyebrow hair loss. It’s actually a type of alopecia so not the normal thinning that comes with aging. I came across a video by a beautiful young woman who has complete hair loss, including her head. She does an amazing job of creating eyebrows using this product, so thought I’d try it.What I hate about pencils and powders is they look fake, especially when you’re working on areas with NO hair at all. Every demo I watched was on people who were basically filling in over and in between hairs. It looked great. But when half an eyebrow is gone it looks different when you get to just skin. Even worse is older skin isn’t as smooth and supple as young skin.This product allows me to paint individual hairs that actually look much more realistic than anything else I’ve tried. The only thing I wish is that they made a slightly lighter, more neutral color so I could mix it with the dark brown. Real hair is not just one color.

I have no eyebrows due to medical issues. This product is the easiest method I’ve found for adding hair-like strokes to my fake brows. I start out with a base of Maybelline Brow Tattoo Studio Gel (NOT the peel off kind) then I apply setting powder. The last step is to use this Dolly Wink eyeliner to fill in hair like strokes. Using this technique, I can get up to two days of brow wear. It’s very easy to remove by wiping with a wash cloth. Highly recommended!

I have Alopecia and have been drawing my eyebrows for 40 years. This is by far the best eyebrow drawing liner that I’ve ever used. Thin brush, easy to make hair like strokes, waterproof, I worked out with them on and I slept with them on and no smudging !!!!

This product is just okay. I am a die hard fan of the black version, but I think there is some irregularity in formula for both the black and the brown shade. I originally bought the black in Japan, and it was amazing. However, after purchasing it online, both black and brown, the quality just hasn't been the same. The black is a good 4-4.5 stars, but the brown is a 3 star product. The main issue that I have with this product is that it's NOT opaque and it's very streaky. You have to go over it and layer it multiple times to build up the color and make it look less watery. It also flakes when you try to go over a dry area. I bought it and am using it daily... It's not unusable but it definitely isn't the best. The tip is the only good part, since it still does make a great cat-eye flick. I originally thought it was just mine that was a little off, but I've tried multiple ones of this same product and they're all very similar in it's streakiness and translucence. Would recommend a different brown pen liner! Would still purchase the black, as it's cheaper than the Stila pen eyeliner.

this is the best and most smooth eyeliner. Some other brands start to run low on ink on the second eye but this one goes on smooth and even without running low. It's my new favorite however I ordered the black color which I like much better than brown. I originally bought for my eyebrows to mimic hairs since I lost them during chemo but it looked too fake so I started using it as eyeliner and love it. stays on all day but does come off pretty easy at night when I wash my face or shower.
