Review: The best mop I've ever used - The spin mop requires half the physical work compared to wringing out a string mop by hand. The foot pedal was very easy to use. The mop rinses out very well and I could get it quite dry with a dozen foot pedal pulses. After spinning, the mop fibers did not hold onto dog hair, so the floors were truly clean afterwards. I gave the mop head one final rinse in clear water before laundering it; it washed out well and dried quickly. I didn't have to get my hands in the mop water at all, so no need for sweaty rubber gloves. The profile with the handle all the way to the floor is very low, so I could easily get under most of my furniture. The extra mop heads for this price are much less expensive than buying refills one by one. I KNOW I'll mop my floors much more often now. To those who say it does not ring out well, a tip: the harder you pump the pedal, the faster the basket will spin, and the more water will come out. I can get the mop head almost too dry if I get too enthusiastic with the pumping!

**Q: will this mop work for picking up pet hair rather than just smearing it around like most mops do? Thank you.**
A: Just like any damp or wet material or mop, it will only pick up things like hairs (and particles) when it's moved across the floor/counter/etc in one direction, then *stopped* and picked up.  At that point the damp thing could be rinsed off and the hair would come with it (or picked off from things like sponge mops).  If instead the damp item is just rubbed back and forth along the surface, some hair/particles will cling but some will be redeposited on the floor. **Q: Just looking it the mop seems like it is only good for dusting and light dirt, can it scrub harder areas if needed?**
A: We have had our current one for 4 years.  It's went through 5 dogs, 3 cats, and incontinent adult, and a husband that works at a sawmill and drags all kinds of craps into my house.  The foot pedal just broke.  We LOVE this mop.  I got one here to specifically order a new one.  This will be the only one we ever own.

**Q: Does the wringing side of the pail have clean water in it or is it just for spinning out the mop that's been dipped into the dirty water?**
A: You realize once you put the mop head into the clean water after using it it's dirty water right? Having different buckets only keeps one bucket of water clean until you dip the mop head into the bucket after you've already used it on the first pass on the floors.

If your floors are that dirty after one mopping session then you need to do more than one mopping session.

**Q: Does this product work as described?**
A: Absolutely! I have two dogs who constantly track in the Florida sand. This mop works better than swifter for quick clean up of debris, dog hair and sand. Plus I can clean my moldings and walls with it.  Love this! Best tool ever! Easy and clean.  Used almost daily fir a month. Works fine.  I don’t expect it to last forever, but I will happily purchase replacements when things wear out.

The O-Cedar spin mop system makes mopping so much easier. The foot pedal wringer is super convenient, no bending or dirty hands. The microfiber mop head does a great job of picking up dirt plus the it’s lightweight and washable. The handle length is not too bad. I wish it was a slight bit longer but thats it. The mop itself after wringing won’t be completely dry but it does a better job than constantly having to use your hands. I love it and I hope they serve me for a long time. this is definitely worth it!
