Most multicolor lights are HIGHLY compromised when trying to use them as a normal bulb. The old RGB combo ones looked awful.However, I am very pleased to say that this bulb is incredible when put on maximum in warm white mode. It seriously lights up the room like a 100 Watt instead of a 60. They definitely did NOT lie about the lumen output.I also really like that you can adjust the warm white mode all the way down to a very low night-light mode. Very well done! These were my main use-cases for the light.My boys can switch to toggle between max mode for daytime or reading, nightlight mode for sleep, OR one of the color fade modes as a nightlight.What is so nice is that once you set up your color-mode, the switch can pretty much do the toggling for you.In my case, I had to cover the switch entirely with wood so they wouldn't turn the light on and read/play all night so I instead mount high up on the wall so I can control the light.

I like surrounding myself with rich colors and enjoy putting on some pretty mood lighting on the weekends when work is over and I'm realaxing and enjoying free time. On other hand, when I'm working or really need to see well, I like to use bright white or softer white. Fortunately with this great bulb, I can have it all in the same lamp!The color-changing remote works really well and is very easy to understand. You can quickly and easily set it so that the colors change gradually, slowly fading in and out, or changing more distinctly and rapidly. Or you can choose to have one color at a time and there are buttons to make the colors dimmer or brighter.I absolutely love this bulb in my favorite office lamp (see pics). It has been fun, too, to have it on during Zoom calls, gradually changing changing colors in the background. Lots of people have complimented the beautiful lamp with the changing colors.

I was hoping these would replace my bulbs for Christmas on my garage. Nice for changing colors for holidays. However, I have tried for hours and hours and I cannot get them to connect. I read and re read the instructions. I made sure I was not on my 5G. The APP finds the bulbs and it starts to connect and then it gives me the X and ‘failed to connect’ after about 3 minutes of trying to download each bulb. It then starts to circle again for the next one, same thing.So, Today I finally gave up. The bulbs are great for a white bulb and they light my driveway. But I cannot connect to them to get them to change colors. I just ordered green LED bulbs and going back to easy instead of cursing in the rain and snow trying to get these things to work.

These are generic RGBW bulbs that require the use of the Tuya Smart application (they're identified as Hydong wifi LED bulb). Set up is simple (mine were discovered automatically), and the app allows you to adjust the color choice or tune the white from yellowish warm white to blueish daylight white. I mostly use the white setting for maximum brightness. If you choose from the color spectrum, the bulb is less bright (don't expect 800 lumens unless it's set to white). I'm using the Android flavor of the app (which was already paired with Google Home), so I can use voice control. If you have an Amazon Echo assistant, you can add the Tuya Smart skill to Alexa by linking your account. There are fewer options available by voice (on/off, set the brightness level or pick a simple color). If you want to select from the complete color palette, pull up the app on your smartphone or tablet.Bought the 3-pack which was reasonably priced (around five bucks each), and they work well enough. Hope that these bulbs will last for thousands of hours.

These are so cool! I have three and use them on the outside of the house. One in front of the front door and one each on each side of the garage. So fun to change the color every day and freak all the neighbors out! I usually have three different colors every night, the remotes work great, they are simply not made to function like a tv remote and need to be close up to the bulb to work exactly right. You can even dim the colors, so there are really like three choices of hue for each color. Tonight I have purple and blue by the garage and green by the front door. Way too much fun. Thanks!

The first product I received had a malfunctioning remote that seriously limited the range of use for this light bulb. However I was quickly sent a perfect replacement even before I had returned the original shipment.The way this light functions is as described but, while being used with certain settings, functions like a black light. Awesome party lighting, video/mood lighting, or just bedroom lighting. The smooth color change setting is awesome!

I have one of these from a previous purchase that I use as a table lamp for my kids. They love taking turns choosing the color, and it provides enough light to be useful but too much when they're trying to sleep. It's so popular that my son asked for another one for their play room, and when it arrived, I realized he meant for the light fixture on the ceiling, not as a secondary table lamp. I humored him, expecting him to realize that it was nowhere near bright enough to be a room light, but it turns out on the white setting, full brightness, it's just as good as the bulb it replaced! On any of the darker colors (even at full brightness) it's way too dark to be useful as a room light, but with the remote control it's super easy to change to white light when we need good room lighting. Best of both worlds!

Parfait exactement ce que je recherchais fonctionnement simple et très facile avec la télécommande ,a noter qu il y'a seulement une ampoule et la télécommande et non 2 ampoule comme décris dans la description sur amazone

I would have loved it if it had more brightness in the colors but I still like it...

Dans la description on nous dit ''lot de 2 ampoules'' et on en reçoit qu'une seule!!
