I used the hitch stabilizer to stabilize my bike rack that was loose within the receiver. We immediately took it on a 18 hour (each way) road trip. My only complaint would be that it worked itself loose during the long drive and I had to retighten the nuts. Certainly not a big deal as most trips are going to be shorter and I could always use some lock tite as well.

Fast to put on

This is the second hitch stabilizer that I have purchased for a second pickup truck. I always find it unusual that the normal way to put it on seems to cause the hitch to ride up inside the 2 in receiver. it makes more sense to me to have this stabilizer hold the trailer down as normally is with weight attached to it so I find myself always turning this upside down from the way pictures describe it.

Used this to keep a 6000lb camper quiet on a 300 mile trip and it did work great. However the plate was definitely bent after the first leg of the trip. Still works though and keeps my hitch from getting stolen so I'm satisfied

The U-bolt is a matte grey which is about the only thing I dont like because it looks unfinished, but I didnt pay attention to what I ordered. Other than that I dont think this would be strong enough to withstand heavy towing, using it for my hitch step. The blue looks good

I purchased this to help keep downward tension on my cargo carrier so that it would not rattle while going down the road. It worked perfectly and our 500 mile trip was much quieter (minus the kids arguing) than it would have been otherwise. Only thing I changed is I added wing nuts instead of the hex nuts, so all I need to carry with me is a pliers to tighten down or loose once I am ready to take it off, much simpler and quicker.

This stabilizer has worked wonders! I use this to secure a 450 dirt bike on a dirt bike rack on the back of my ford explorer. I use an impact drill to tighten the bolts and the bike carrier has no wobble or play in it. Extremely secure because of this part. Very easy to install and definitely work every penny.

This is one of those super simple concepts that works very well Takes all the slack out of the receiver/hitch junction. Rock solid ,no noise problem solver. Highly recommend

Bought this product to eliminate trailer hitch movement and stop it from "chattering". It is perfect. And good value for the money. Highly recommend.

I can see this product being good but in my case it wouldn’t work because I was using a hitch extender and so the 2” inch dropped to a 1 1/4” inch bar for my bike carrier. If there is any kind of large gap between the hitch and whatever you have in the hitch this doesn’t work and just slips off. I would say it’ll be the same for all of these products, not just this one but it really should say it won’t work with hitch extenders. It did seem well made.
