BagLane Hybrid Commuter Backpack Garment Bag - Travel Carry On Suit Bag (Grey)

I bought this bag for my husband as a gift. He loved it and used it half a dozen times at most when the fabric of the bag began to separate at one of the zippers (see photo). Seven months from purchase with five or six trips for a $100 item does not seem worth it to me. We contacted the seller and was offered an unspecified discount on a new purchase--not interested.Update: vendor contacted us and offered a replacement bag for $20. My husband was agreeable to that and we have received a new bag. We are hopeful that the previous issue was an aberration and that he'll get at least a year or two worth of use out of the replacement as he really, really likes it. If it lasts, then this bag & company deserve 5 stars.

I have been looking for a bag like this for some time. The price point on this one attracted me so I decided to try it out. I used it on one trip so far and can say that it seems to be very sturdy, but the garment section can't hold more than one suit and a couple shirts without becoming distorted in size and shape. it would be good for about a two or three-day trip, but if you need to do something longer than that, you will need a different bag.Also understand that this is a backpack, not a traditional garment bag. It works fine as a backpack for dress clothes but is a little awkward just to try to haul around as a garment bag.Oh, love the rain fly. It saved my ass.

I bought this bag to use at my new job. I hoped to bike to work.I moved to my new city and was ready to use this bag. The belt RIPPED out of the bag when I tightened the outer strap! I haven't even used it!An except from their own ad on Amazon says, “designed to withstand heavy use and fully prepared for everyday wear. Industrial zippers and strong, adjustable clip straps ensure all your items stay safe...”No. Not even close. Heavy use?!? I can’t even tighten the strap without it ripping out!This is garbage. Especially for the money.Returning for refund... This company should be ashamed to sell this.

As with others who purchased this product I have found it starting to rip at seams. I have used it maybe 20 times or so and I don't feel my use qualifies as "heavy use". I bicycle to work - an hour each way - and the bag is not mistreated. I can say that my suits have come out without wrinkles, so that is a positive...but now I am forced to look for another solution. I had recommended this to friends and co-workers, now I am forced to tell them all to never consider this company due to poor construction.

The bag is made of high quality materials. Keeps a suit pretty wrinkle free. I had a full suit in the bag; folded up, for over 8 hours and the suit came out with minimal wrinkles, no need to iron.I mostly use it to take bus casual clothes to the gym daily. I love it.

Other reviewers stated it falls apart, but I have no issues yet. My uniform does not get wrinkled, so it is doing it jobs to my standards. It has a bunch of amazing little knick-knacks that make this bag very practical.

I use this for carrying hang-up clothes in a backpack. Works great and keeps clothes nice. Sturdy build.

I thought I'd give this a try. Product arrived quickly, but I'm disappointed. Hanger is very flimsy and difficult to attach. When the hanger is attached, it feels like it will fall to the bottom of the bag, so I can't hang this up with a suit on it. The hanger also feels like it will break if I put my suit on it! Buckles are not from any brand, and are difficult to close. The zips also are a worry and aren't YKK. Overall, the bag feels cheap. I doubt this bag would last one trip! Don't buy it!
