Perfect silver color for adding detail to cookies and cakes
This product has an excellent silver shimmer and goes on thin but is very opaque instead of translucent, which is perfect for my projects. Shaking and stirring it didn't work at first, I had to use something thick (like the handle of my paintbrush) to mix up the goop that had settled in the bottom into the liquid to really get the silver color to start showing up. I recommend thoroughly mixing before use, but once you get it mixed it looks like you would expect. It also either doesn't have a taste or the taste blends with the icing. I used it on some sugar cookies and they were delicious. I couldn't tell a difference in taste on the silver painted parts of the cookie, and I applied it fairly liberally! That was a relief as I worried it might taste bitter or bland.

Great for decorating small things
Has a weird minty taste. Great for decorating small things. Have to use a good thick coat and then let dry COMPLETELY and coat again. Best to coat grey or black fondant. Worked great for making the fondant tools on the cake silver!

Maybe its just me
I was having to constantly remix the glaze cause it kept separating every few minutes. It tasted horrendous as well. Like eating chemicals. I was using it to paint on black Fondant and the color wasnt consistent, it took several coats, and it was very runny most of the time. It smelled very chemically too. I dont have much experience with glaze but the taste and smell, I dont see how anyone would really want that on something they are eating. It did take a few hours to dry, because of all the coats, and it was pretty sticky until then.

Edible metal!
I love this glaze! I make custom cakes as a hobby and this is perfect for making "silver" edible items from fondant. You can also get it in gold. I've used them for things like hardware on a purse cake, and tools on a toolbox cake. You'll want to apply it with a small paintbrush in thin, even layers and let it dry completely between coats (2-3 for full coverage).

Fine
Used the glaze to make fondant numbers for a birthday cake. Required several coats to cover antique white fondant, I recommend dying the fondant gray for a better effect. Live and learn

Great results.
It worked out very well. I used it on a Kylo Ren cake I made. It is very runny compared to normal colors, but it did the job I wanted. I also used it on the BB8 cake mixed with another color to create grey. I would buy it again. Very happy.

Okay
This edible food coloring was okay. I used it to paint fondant but had to do numerous very thin coats (about 6) with long dry time in between otherwise it would clump and crack.

better for use with fondant
classic silver glaze. adds a touch of color to anything, fondant, icing, etc. adding it to icing makes it more gray than silver. leaves some weird streaks. better for use with fondant. (use gray fondant, brush some silver on, and it looks awesome!)
