Set of 2 Synthetic Leather Modern Adjustable Swivel Barstools Hydraulic Chair Bar Stools (Red)

Positives: The red is bright and powerful. The cushioning and support padding is "just right". The stiching is of good quality. The swivel is a nice feature and is silent. I am a 220 lb., 6' (okay 230 lb.) Male. My wife is 108 lbs. 5' 2" and these chairs are comfortable and easily adjusted for both of us. These are not lightweight, they are sturdy. The pneumatics are good and easily adjusted. The packing is very good. Two chairs are shipped in one 2' x 2' x 2' box. Assembly is quick and simple. Each chair taking 5 minutes. The one necessary tool (allenwrench) is provided. (You get two for some reason) The price, particularly with Prime shipping , make these a good value.Negatives: despite being packed well, one of my bases arrived with a "ding" in it. This likely occured in manufacturing, and was packed up anyway. The dent is small and I am uncertain if I want to bother with a return. Amazon makes it easy if I choose to do so. There is a cheaply made, plastic, silvered, trim ring that is poorly fitting between the base and post. This needs to be rethought as it is of such poor quality that you shake your head. What was that product designer thinking? These are not made with "real" 1956 Chevy chrome. The chromed metal would not likely stand up to outdoor, porch or waterfront areas. I will be watching these closely for the development of any rust and will follow-up in 6 months.A solid 4 stars.

I found these bar stools easy to assemble -- in just fifteen minutes (remember to take the plastic caps off the hydraulic tubes) -- and solidly built. They're comfortable and jazzy, and we managed to fit the pair in our small kitchen. The hydraulic mechanism is nice for smoothly descending from the perch. I only wish it had the pump-up device like in beauty parlor chairs so that one could elevate the chair after sitting down. As it is, the stools have to be raised before sitting, if you want them raised at all. Still, these seem nicely-made, and a good value at under $100

The chairs were more light weightthan we had expected, and the imitationchrome on all the chairs came marked and scratched. One of the chairs evencame with two small holes in the leatherright on the seating area, and quite visible. The best part was they were easy to assemble. I wasn't fully satisfied with the overall product.

Great price and look great in our home bar. Very comfortable and sturdy. The hydraulic lift mechanism works very nice. However kids under 80 lbs will have difficulty getting the chair to go down. My daughter loves the ride up! Kind of funny watching her climb down the chair after making it go all the way up and getting stuck. Fortunately no problems with the bar stool tipping over on the climb down. Adults do no have problems getting the chairs to go back down. And no problems tipping it either

The chairs are "supposed" to go up and down with a hydraulic system. One does not work - it just stays in one position. Kept the chair anyway so as not to hassle with boxing, returning, etc.

These are great! I first seen them in black at a local retailer but couldn't commit because I wanted a bright color. THEN...when I found the same style on Amazon, I immediately hit that add to cart button and awaited their quick delivery. Bonus!!! > I got two of them for less than the cost the local retailer was charging. :)

Lasted a few months... back piece broke and now no support

Listing out the Good and the areas of concern/improvement here.Good:1.Great cushioning.2.Bright color, looks great and catches attention.3. Hydraulic mechanism works as intended, its a bit jumpy, but managable.4.Foot rests looks ok and built to last unless jumped upon.5.Chrome finish looks great.6. back rests looks stylis and adds character to the chairs.7.Over all, pretty solid built.8. Delivery packeging was excellent.Areas of concern/improvment:1. When hight fully extended, the Center of Gravity moves up a lot. Which means, you need to be carefull or else the chair may topple/flip over.2.NOT safe for the use of children for the same reasson above.3.The base is decent, but could have been a bit wider to support the chair when fully extended.4.The back rest supports just the very lower back portion. But again , may bar chair doesnt have any back support at all ;)5.There was a few very small dents in some places in the steel cylinder. Too small to be noticed honestly. But still its worth mentioning and a lot of people wants their product spotless.Over All:When it comes to being a bar/kitchen corner chair, it does its job.Its looks bright and beautiful, offers great cushioning, hydraulics works well.High CG (High Center of gravity) remains a problem for most of them.
