An awful lot of gold in these white curtain rods
The description notes that there is gold in these curtain rods, but it's rather a lot of gold. More than I was expecting. Not a huge deal though... I went out and purchased some white spraypaint and gave the rod a once-over, and I think it looks much better now.Much like the other Rulu curtain rod I purchased previously, I like the look of this rod, but once again am struck by the poor quality of the enclosed screws. The heads strip out really easily, and they don't drill into wood well at all. A minor point, but annoying nonetheless. As far as the rod goes, though... I'm a fan.

Pretty though don't look too close
The paint chips as you are tightening and adjusting but with the weathered white look that's okay, I guess.

curtain rods
This metal rods work perfectly. They fit together easily. They were shipped in very sturdy containers. The "antiqued" surface gives the rods a casual country look.

Shabby Chic
Strong sturdy and look fantastic, they have a little bit of that shabby chic appeal. There was a little more gold on them than expected, so just keep that in mind when purchasing. They look great in my living room though, so I have nothing to complain about.
