Bought this to use when travelling with my iPod.Does exactly what I wanted. Gives me good sound in a hotel room etc from the iPod or other device. Its not going to be loud enough for a party but plenty loud enough to wake the neighbours !Sound quality is surprisingly good for such a small device with a reasonably good bass tone.Comes with a leather travel case to protect it in your bag whilst travelling and also contains the cables in a compartment in the bottom.Charges from USB, takes a little while first time to fully charge but battery life seems acceptable once charged.Can link to a second unit via a link cable - there is only one speaker in the box (some people seem to get confused about this). If you want a second then you need to order two, seems over the top to me for the intended use.In summary its perhaps a shade pricey but so far it seems to me that you are getting what you pay for. If you aren't bothered about sound quality then go for a cheaper type.

Arrived very well, well packed and in good time. Most efficiently done.However a bitter disappointment with this item. The sound quite inferior to the one i heard at my friend's place.. equal to that which comes out of my iMac already. Looks the business and the case is really nice. All very well made and presented but doesn't live up to expectation. Apparently doesn't last too long either, or so my friend tells me.I recommend instead for similar price, the slightly larger Logitech offering - now that is equivalent to a Bose unit. not as pretty but hey! I'm here for the quality of sound!

Seen and heard loads of little speakers but this is one seriously good little gadget to have, ex sound ( impressive for something so small!) neat case, rechargeable so no battery costs, bought mine on a plane in duty free, was a bit worried, but when I got home my 18 & 15 year old boys were jealous and wanted one! So it got their approval, which is rare!

I am delighted with my purchase of the Lifetrons DrumBass 111 speaker. It is neat, compact, easy to carry around in my bag whilst safely sitting in its own storage pouch. The sound is full and rounded filling the room. The volume has two settings which is ideal for me as I use the lower setting whilst carrying out Reiki therapy which gives ample volume for background music and the higher setting filling the room with sound with no distortion. In fact I am so delighted that I have bought another as a gift for my son and my sister was so impressed she has bought one for her husband.

Sound is very poor for that price, had to return the item and replaced it with the dwarf. Good service though, no complaints.

Very good sound for such a small device, nice compact and looks niche in that metallic body and very robust. I didn't order mine from Amazon, I got it cheaper on a flight back from Greece for £38 quid!!! where's that trolly dolly!! :)
