## Overview

The Nesco FD-60 Snackmaster Express is a powerful 500W food dehydrator featuring a patented Converga-Flow airflow system that dries snacks up to 4x faster and more evenly. With an adjustable thermostat (95°F–155°F) and expandable BPA-free trays (4 included, up to 12 total), it’s designed for versatile, mess-free, and safe home dehydration of fruits, veggies, herbs, and jerky. Compact yet expandable, it’s perfect for millennial pros who want fresh, homemade snacks on demand.

## Description

The NESCO FD-60 Snackmaster Express Dehydrator has the drying power that generates maximum speed and quality for dehydrating your favorite fruits, vegetables, herbs and jerky. The quiet, powerful Converga-Flow fan forces heated air down the exterior pressurized chamber, then horizontally across each individual tray. The air flow then converges in the center for quick, consistent drying that is four times faster than other dehydrators. This dehydrator comes with four (13 1/2" diameter) trays and expands up to 12 trays so you can dry large quantities at once, with no tray rotation needed. Additional Add-A-Trays sold separately. The adjustable temperature control (95°F -160°F) gives you the flexibility to achieve the best results when drying different foods that need varying temperature settings. The NESCO FD-60 Snackmaster Express provides an easy and economical way to make delicious jerky, nutritious veggie chips, and all-natural fruit snacks at home. SAFETY: If a unit overheats there is a thermal cutout fuse (TCO) in line with the element that will open and render the dehydrator inoperable. This is intentional and is considered a safety feature.

## Features

- 500‑WATT DRYING POWER WITH CONVERGA‑FLOW AIRFLOW SYSTEM circulates warm air evenly across trays, helping home users make fruit snacks, veggie chips, and beef jerky faster and more consistently than air‑drying or low‑power dehydrators.
- FOUR BPA‑FREE DRYING TRAYS WITH EXPANDABILITY UP TO 12 TRAYS allow users to start with small, everyday batches or add trays for larger prep sessions, ideal for weekly snack making or seasonal produce drying.
- ADJUSTABLE THERMOSTAT (95°F–155°F) lets users select proper temperatures for different foods, ensuring fruits dry gently, meats dry safely, and herbs maintain aroma across repeat uses.
- TOP‑MOUNTED FAN AND HEATING ELEMENT prevent liquids from dripping into electrical components, reducing mess and overheating risk during longer drying cycles with juicy fruits or marinated meats.
- COMPACT SNACKMASTER DESIGN WITH INCLUDED ACCESSORIES (FRUIT ROLL SHEET & JERKY SEASONING SAMPLE) makes it easy to get started right out of the box, positioning the FD‑60 as a straightforward, expandable alternative to larger or digital dehydrators.
- SAFETY: If a unit overheats there is a thermal cutout fuse (TCO) in line with the element that will open and render the dehydrator inoperable. This is intentional and is considered a safety feature.
