If you laser print your photo onto the shiny side of the a label’s backing paper (you have to peel off and discard/use elsewhere the actual label) you can just just peel it off after drying instead of the water and rub method! **Q: Description states, "Usually ships within 2 to 4 months". I thought this was suppose to give texture and high peaks. How come?** A: Firstly, the product will flatten out on a flat surface as it dries - this is an unavoidable effect of gravity. "High peaks" must be carefully sculpted and then reshaped while drying - consider drying your piece upside down. Let gravity do its work. Secondly, this product is designed to be used with other Liquitex acrylic paints - if you're mixing it with another type of paint, an unfavorable chemical reaction may be affecting your desired result. The same holds true if you are applying it over a painted surface which has dried. Third, you could consider adding a stiffening agent, such as quick setting acrylic adhesive, to your mixture. This will force the gel to "set up" quickly and stiffen.
