adds a surprising amount of stability
I was skeptical of this ladder stabilizer when I purchased, however my boss told me to get it and install it on one of our extension ladders at the office. I will say right away that this adds a surprising amount of stability.Installation was easy enough. The package contains easy to read and follow instructions. You will need to provide your own tools but I assume that is to be expected. Mostly just various size wrenches, ratchets, and a drill.surprisingly with these legs extended it will support the extension ladder without leaning it against a wall (it will not, however, support a person on the ladder without leaning it against something....so don't try that)legs fold up when not in use and although they add a little bit of weight to the ladder don't really get in the way much when folded.

Ultimate ladder stabilizer
I have a Werner 24' 3 section Aluminum Ladder. I used to hate going up this extension ladder because it felt wobbly and unsafe.After I install LockNClimb, it felt extremely stable. Now I no longer fear climbing my extension ladder.Another plus for using LockNClimb with my extension ladder is that I can incline my ladder at the base and then extend the ladder. Because my ladder has no rope to pull the ladder up, it was unsafe and difficult to incline my ladder while trying to extend the ladder section by section. Now with LockNClimb, it's safe and easy for my to extend my ladder at any angle that I choose.

this is a life-saving product
I often get jobs that require me to use my 32ft.ladder over concrete driveway of a home but I have to park my truck behind it for safety and that means Maneuvering three times.Less downtime and my confidence up. I would give ot 5stars but there isn't any YouTube installation video as well as the manual doesn't help well on 32ft. aluminum ladders. A little confused from the illustration and instructions.

returned the item. when i bought it, to ...
returned the item. when i bought it, to me , it was not clear as to how much work is needed to mount it. put it on, is project to take it back off to much of a pain to deal with it ALL the time EVERY time
