Bargoose Natural Cotton Top Fitted Crib Pad (Discontinued by Manufacturer)

Our baby hasn't used it for too long, but I'm pleased for the most part. He is no longer sweaty all over his back, which is why I wanted the all natural cotton top. It also fits well on our foam mattress. What I really hate that happened, even after just one wash is that there is one edge of the pad about 3 inches or so long that's all bunched up weird so that it's raised and imagine if he ever got to laying on it (he can't move yet really) it would be super uncomfortable. Yes, I know when he's rolling and stuff he can just move off it, but that's annoying. My guess is that something happened in the dryer? Also, I was annoyed that after wash/dry the contents (waterproof stuff, I guess) all shifted weird and I had to adjust it for like 5 minutes. So I like how it works, just not its maintenance. Luckily it's not too expensive for what it is, so I guess if push comes to shove I would probably get another one.

Soft but not too squishy, I've been very happy with it in the 2 months my daughter has been sleeping in her crib. We use this with the Colgate Eco Classica I Crib Mattress and it's a great fit. Only washed twice (first use and once since due to an accident) and it's easy to care for. We didn't experience any smell when we first received it.Update 7/6/2013 - Our daughter is now in a "big girl bed" and this pad, along with the mattress, are tucked away in the event we decide to have more children. The pad has since been washed a number of times and not only survived many nighttime accidents during the toddler bed phase, but kept the mattress protected as well. This mattress and crib combo was perfect, and whether we use it or someone else does, I know it will perform just as well.

I have an amazing mattress pad that has lasted 2-1/2 years but it is starting to tear (I wish it still had the tag so I could've ordered it!) I bought this to replace it and am very disappointed. Despite what I read on other reviews, it is not quiet at all, it is flimsy, and it does not hug the mattress very tightly. It is also warm. I should've just spent the money for a truly non-waterproof mattress pad. I don't know why they won't make more options for that!

This seems nice. Soft and good padding. A bit of a smell right out of the package but that diminished with washing. Overall I am pleased with it. I put a flannel waterproof pad between the pad and the sheet so I am hoping I don't have to pull this off the mattress too much.

I was excited to get this because it has a good feel to it and is cotton. However it ripped at the seam after the first wash and I have a nice washing machine! Oh well, would have been 4 or 5 stars if it hadn't ripped.

We have two of these Bargoose Natural Cotton Top Fitted Crib Pads for our daughter's toddler bed, which uses a crib mattress. Most crib-size mattress pads seem to be made of synthetic materials, which make my daughter hot and sweaty in bed. These pads have a cotton top, fit well on the mattress and stand up to washing.

i ordered this product for my son who is a hot sleeper. this pad adds a little softness in between the sheet & mattress & keeps my baby from waking up often wringing wet. i wish we would have had from birth!

Do yourself a favor and opt for the Carter's fitted crib pads ... about the same price and much better quality. I have only washed this crib pad twice, and the elastic already ripped. Junk!
