Had never used one but it was a great tool.

Good quality tool. When looking at ground probes, you want one that's not going to break at the weld when you are leaning on it, causing a pesky impalement of the torso. This tool looks to be of superb quality and I had no trouble trusting that this would not happen.I will also be recommending it to any aliens I come across for their probing needs as well. The truth is out there people.

Product arrived on time as advised and survived the delivery process. Packaging, not so much.

Good quality probe and fair price

I use bamboo poles for tomato cage supports. They're cheap and durable, but getting them in the ground used to be my least favorite part of gardening. I used to just shove the bamboo in the ground. Sometimes they would go in easy, but most often they were difficult to get in very deep, and I would have to really bear down. It got old quick. I have no idea what this tool is designed for, but it makes the absolute perfect holes to place bamboo poles in the ground, and it enables me to get them twice as deep. It's solid steel, the handle is very comfortable, and it goes in the soil like butter. What more could you ask for?

I push this down trying to feel for the tunnels. Right sized hole to drop the pellets in,. Easy to handle thanks to the tee handle.

Nice weight/feel... Looks like it's will last forever.

Purchased this item recently. I live in UK. The item came in a very large cardboard box. Something like 3ft by 3ft and 3inches thick. But utterly disappointed. It is a very sharp, pointy steel probe- no makes a hole. Does not collect a sample of soil. Returning this item back to USA is a hassle. I will keep this and think of a way to use this steel pointy rod, and order another proper soil probe.

I thought it would have taken soil cores for soil testing but that is not what it is for... Completely my fault. Not worth sending back because it's worth less than shipping. Looks like a solid product for why that's worth.
