We bought 2 different Crosley turntables and both turned out to be total crap and needed to be returned (one quit working after one record was played). We decided to pay a few extra bucks, about $20, and get this system. It is AMAZING! It played all the records the 1st Crosley wouldn't, if the records are warped they play fine, but you may need to put a dime on the needle to keep it from skipping over the warped areas. I didn't give it 5 stars because the the CD player and the tape player work intermittenly and skip or warp the sound. If you are purchasing it for either of those items, I would buy something else, but we have a shelf system that plays both of those just fine. If you are looking for a quality record player with a nostalgic feel, that isn't overly expensive, this is the system for you.

The piece itself is beautiful but the sound quality is terrible.

The turntable does not turn. I took off the platter and the belt was connected but the motor does not work.It cost me $30 to ship it back for a $99 item.Should have been free shipping for a defective item return.I am very unhappy.

I am thrilled with the quality of this product. I was worried about the tuner on the radio but it tuned to the FM station that I listen to perfectly and it came in very clearly. I tried the record player and CD player. The sound quality is very good. And I did not realize it even had a tape player so I was excited about that also. For the price it is perfect. I am very pleased. I like to listen to old records so I think this was a great purchase.

I thought one star would be pretty extreme. Anyhow, this product receives only two stars from me because not all of the necessary equipment is included. They leave out the rubber turntable platter mat, which is essential for playing records. Platter mats can be bought online for about $20, but are otherwise hard to find. You may also have to get this system's specific platter mat, which is further frustrating. I feel as though Heartland America has ripped me off. They should have noted somewhere that the platter mat wasn't included. You'll find in the user manual that it should have come with the system.

Very impressed with all the functions this music player has! All the different modes work great although the turntable is a little wobbly.. Fixed with the dime trick ;)Overall- very happy tho!! Also, it has a very beautiful cherry wood finish... Would recommend to anyone looking for a cheaper record player that can also play a variety of music outputs. Shipped very fast too. Thanks!

This item is functional for the purpose I bought it for. I was disappointed in that it appears to be an off grade cheap looking replica; I feel the product price was too high for this item, as I would not have bought it had I been able to view in person before purchasing.

I was very much disappointed with this unit. It only produces 2 watts per channel. You'll get NO booming bass out of this thing. It sounds like a 50's vintage table radio.
