Take your old Nerf Recon to the next level to dominate the battle field!
Throughout my many years of Nerf I have always resulted in buying an OMW kit at some point to make my blaster extra special. Every OMW kit I have purchased has been simply to install and lasted throughout many wars. All of these kits are easy replacements and simply drop into the designed Nerf gun. I would highly recommend any product by OMW to any one looking to take their blaster to the next level!

not bad I'll say...
1 of the 3 kits/boxes I bought jammed up, either the radius of the plunger or spring was off by a thou (or two). Besides that, the range you get is great, but the target is a different story. That dart will fly like a chicken without a head, but is somewhat fixable. OMW doesn't have the best service, but their products are good in general.Should you get this?.. Yes!!! It sometimes leave a purple mark on people the next day, but that's the fun of it.

Easy enough to install if you know anything about nerf ...
Turned my okay gun into a monster. My only problem is that I now have to weight my darts so that they will fly straight. Easy enough to install if you know anything about nerf guns, but for sure be careful whenever pulling it apart.

Make sure you have a Recon and not a Retaliator!
DO NOT USE THIS ON A RETALIATOR. I assumed it would work because the recon and retaliator look like the same blaster but I had to do a LOT of work to get it to fit and the function is iffy. Nothing wrong with the product just my poor choice.Build quality is awesome and it seems like normal installation would be a breeze. Just make sure you have a recon

Depends on your planned use.
Overall, the install is easy enough and quality of parts is excellent.I think the main spring included has too heavy a load (6kg). You can find 5 kg springs. I plan to try one. The range of the 6kg spring is good and a solid upgrade. However, the physical strength required to cock the gun with a 6kg spring is SIGNIFICANT. No child could use this gun with this mod kit installed. Even with adult strength, it requires enough force to make a rapid firing sequence difficult if not impossible. And forget about cocking the gun quietly - won't happen.So, if range is you're main concern, then this is a good upgrade (though if range is your main worry, I suggest applying the comparable mod to the Longstrike instead).Otherwise, I think using the mod with a 5kg spring might be just about right, though probably still difficult for a child to use.

this kit is good for people who want better performance out of their blaster. firstly this kit will increase the length at witch your blaster will shoot. secondly this kit will in crease the over all durability of your internals in your blaster. thirdly this will help you learn about how to modify future blasters.
