Worked out well assembly was a snap, literally. shiny chrome finish no scratches. Put this on my gf ipod 6th gen. To get the old one apart was sucker but found that a small flat blade (like a hobby knife blade that's flexible) worked the best for getting the old one off. Theres a video on a popular website that uses this method that you should look at. Also your gonna need a precision screwdriver/eyeglass screwdriver set to remove some screws for the hold switch and earphone jack. This wasn't overly complicated if you have a basic mechanical understanding. Worst part is getting the old one apart. good buy would do it again.

Product was great just took a long time to get here, otherwise was a perfect fit.

Fits perfectly and looks brand new. It was quite easy to install and the inside looked quite similar to apples. It doesnt have the glue for some of the parts that require to be fixed but you can easily take it from the ipod you are transferring it from and place it in the new one. My ipod looks brand new!

Was a bit nervous not seeing part in person. When I received it was exactly the part I needed and fixed my ipod after battery place damaged it while putting new battery in (batteries plus).
