They're a nice, soft, comfortable rubber that is the best I've found. Yet it's still pretty durable as I've been using the same one for a couple of weeks now. And they're cheap. But like a lot of other reviewers have stated it's just too small. I run similar style guards in the large position, while these stop about halfway to my farthest back molars.
