Honey color-Assembly was easy and the pieces fit together very well. So the fit was quite good, but the finish is just ok. The edges of the pieces will easily get worn and become lighter than the rest of the finish. The walls are not solid particle board; instead, they are hollow. You should already know this as the description states this very clearly. There were some surface blemishes as well. I don't think this is due to the flat packing as the unit comes packed very well.The unit is very light but the durability might become an issue in the future (due to the hollow nature of the construction). Saying this, I did screw some wheels into the base of the unit to make a small printer stand. The wheels are secure and the screws did not chew out the particle board. It appears the hollow areas do not extend to the joints and edges of the panels.Not a bad purchase. Perhaps a touch up marker could fix some of the blemishes - especially the edge problems.

This cube serves my needs for storing music books that I use on a daily basis. iI sits atop a similar cube that does not have a shelf.Appearance is OK. This is a plain looking functional piece. it is sturdy enough for light storage. I would not use it for loads of books, but then perhaps I did not assemble it very well.I had some difficulty putting this cube together by my self and the back panel still lets a slit of light come through. This may be because I have not assembled the cube correctly. Another set of hands and brain might have helped.In any case, I am satisfied with the purchase. It is a budget solution that does not look cheap.

This shelf is part of a customized storage solution for our family room. You can assemble using a screw driver, although I used a drill. The parts list and instructions are very clear and easy to follow. The furniture looks great in my room and does exactly what I expected. I have not received all of the pieces, yet so I can't say how well everything fits together, but so far I am extremely satisfied. This box took about 10 minutes to build.

I've ordered a couple of these systems a couple of times and they definately surpassed my expectations. It's true that the large two drawer shelves are less solid then the small two drawer counterparts. I'd use the larger ones for light duty only. The only real issue I had was that the way the cubes are packaged they suffer damage on the pieces along the outside of the carton. Poor packaging and rough handling by both Fed Ex and UPS are as much to blame as foremost is. The parts that were damaged were still perfectly functional and luckily the places they were damaged were hidden due to their location when I set them up.

Smaller than I thought it was going to be..but it does the job for the most part! Color is great and as long as you're okay laying your books on the side (that's what I bought it for) than you'll like it. You just can't put them with the spine out, the shelves are not tall enough

I wanted cubbies for my kids winter hats and gloves. These work really nice. The durability is consistent with any other laminate type of wood. Not great quality but works really good for what I use it for. I have had mine for over a year with no chipping or scratching!

I BOUGHT 2 OF YHESE CUBES . IT TAKES THE Patience of Jobe to put it together. i managed with a to b put c in here a dowel here a screw there, but i had to ask someone to tighten it for me. they are cheaply made, we ended up with parts that are left over because they have no directions where to put them!. the company refused to take the one back,BUT AS USUAL AMAZON CAME TO MY RESCUE! SO AFTER I GOT THE ONE TOGETHER I WAS NOT GOING TO GO THRU THE INTENSE AGGREVATION OF TRYING ANOTHER. IT'S A GOOD THING NO ONE CAN SEE IT WHERE I PUT IT IT IS EMBARRASING HOW MUCH T IT LOOKS LIKE A BROWN MILK CASE! NEVER AGAIN FIRST AND" FOREMOST" KATE RAES

The shelf is fine, but it's clearly pretty cheap. It wasn't extremely difficult to put it together, but I was left with extra pieces and it wasn't intuitive. It works fine for what I need, but it doesn't look great.
