Circuit Board Fleck 7000SXT & SE Valve (Part 61696)

I replaced an older failed board from a 7000 (non-SXT) with this board. The replacement was quick and easy. My softener is back to operating perfectly. When I first installed the board, I had to clean the optical disk and blow it out thoroughly with compressed air. Prior to doing so, I got a UD SYNC error. Once I cleaned the optical disk, I held down the reset switch for 10 seconds with power removed, then powered it up while holding the regen button. I was then able to program the unit as needed.

Works great. Doesn't fit inside the older covers though. If you don't mind seeing the workings of you softener than who cares.

Plug and play. It comes programmed and I was surprised that I could not edit as many parameters as the manual said. I had the version with the LED 8 segments display but with one seems to have been designed to be easier to configure which I appreciate. Mine was broken because the cover was damaged and water got in. And as said I had the previous version and this one fits perfects and it is just plug and play.

The circuit board did not work. Had to overnight one from manufacturer. A waste of time and money.

Product works great. Fix my back flush problem on my 7000SXT. Be aware that this product fits perfectly into the softeners mechanics but the cover does not align quite right. It's no big issue as you can always remove the cover to reprogram the unit.
