Works, but…
This chain tool is not made very precisely. If the extracting pin is not aligned exactly, in a place that you cannot actually see while your tightening it, the pin will easily bend and/or break. Not hardened steel! That’s why they include an extra extracting pin, I guess.The tool works at extraction if you’re careful lining it up. Using it for re-inserting a pin in the chain (the other end of the tool) requires more than just being careful, you have to be lucky too.So, it worked, twice, but I expect it will ruin the second extracting pin after a couple of more chains, and then the tool would be useless.
