Overall good brackets. Would buy again.Only issue is the brackets were loose when arrived. Had to tighten and adjust them all but no big deal. The brackets are good and priced about right But the drywall wall anchors that come with the brackets are worthless and do not hold. Replace anchors with Toggle type anchors for secure wall mounting

I used these brackets for a floating shelf made of cedar wood. I used a doweling jig to get perfectly straight holes for the wood to slide onto the brackets. I didn't use the cheap hardware that came with the product, so I went with more heavy duty screws and anchors. Just the weight of the shelf [one inch thick, three foot long, 10 inches deep] was enough to make the brackets slope down, which was visibly unlevel. As for rating the features I am leaving one star for sturdiness for above reasons. Three stars for easy to install because though it was easy to install I did need to go get heavy duty hardware to avoid future failure from the provided low quality hardware. One star for value for money because if I cannot use the product there is no value it brings to my project - just loss.

I questioned a review that said these were flimsy. Sure enough, these were solid when I used them. Be sure to install right side up. The bit of adjustment is great to accommodate small measuring errors.I used a standard 1/2 inch drill bit with no issues. I also used a doweling jig to keep the holes straight. I only wish they made the screw slots on the sides just a bit wider to handle a carriage bolt (1/4 inch size bolt) . I used the bolts on 2 shelves, since I was attaching to a cabinet, and didn't have room to install them and slide the shelf on with the range hood in place. I just widened the slots with a Dremel slipped the bolts in, slid the shelf on, and tightened the nuts in the cabinet.I used butcher block counter top material for the shelving (1.75 inches thick).

We are very disappointed in the sturdiness of these bolts. Carefully crafted shelves by hand and bought a special drill bit (rather pricey) to accommodate the bolts. Got everything hung and the shelves tipped forward and it doesn't work for us at all. The bolts don't hold the shelve steady at all. Terrible experience.

It’s very convenient being able to do small adjustments to the bracket. I took off one star because the screws and anchors are terrible. It would’ve also been nice if they included a drill bit as most drill bits don’t reach or barely reach 6 inches in length. I would want to take off another half star because the spacing in the holes are just a bit too wide to fit a standard stud. I had to put a screw in the stud and drywall.

The online instructions say to use a 33/64 the inch drill bit which, let's face it, is not at ALL convenient. I special order the drill bit from Bosch. Drill a test hole, and it's too big for the bracket...I look at the instructions I got with the bracket and it says 31/64th!?I also received the 8 inch set twice, once the first time ordering the 5 inch (which is what Amazon reports me having ordered). Then again after I reordered the 5 inch product.Tl:Dr - Wrong length sent to me twice. Online instructions different from actual instructions.

I was looking for a descent wall mount and flexibolt turned out to be the one. I received the brackets from the company really fast in two days which is also great. The metal holder holds really strong and I screwed it in my drywall and really sturdy.

Easy to install, and this set has everything that I need to set up my floating shelves. And it's nice that I could make minor adjustments to the brackets. These are doing good so far, and they don't have a hint of flimsiness to them.
