A lovely journal with different sections fit for purpose but the paper quality is definitely lacking compare to other Moleskine journals. I've tried many different pens and they all show up on the back of the page, short of writing it in pencil, it will show through on the other side.

It comes with a good cover, contains lots of places to track all the pleasant moments and just put day-to-day story of development. I`d put 4 of 5 - there are better offerings in terms of money and functionality, but its very personal to decide will it suit you or no.

It's a really lovely looking journal and I really like the different sections and places to stick in scan photos, make lists etc but for the price I'm so disappointed by how thin the paper is, for the price it is a bit of a joke. I've tried several different pens and all of them can be seen on the opposite side of the paper which is very annoying and makes the journal look messy/not put together. I've used Moleskine journals for years and never had this issue.

Having had one of the wedding planner, Moleskine books, which was extremely useful and informative and set clear milestones so that you could plan the perfect day me and my wife found this book to be not at all to my liking and very unexpected today sent it back. The cover looks exactly the shown very inviting and quite playful. However, once you make it past the front cover, you’re welcomed by a diary, which is in all respects or facts and very little feeling. There are spaces for pictures however, these are very few and far between. There are no frequent update pages with small problems such as how are you feeling on this particular day or changes i have noticed. What you will find is a graph to indicate the growth baby, so you can keep track of it, a contact page where you can list all your doctors contacts, midwife, family contact details. Sadly, this was not what we wanted. What we were expecting was a book that helped us write the story of our pregnancy all the way to birth, and then perhaps a year or two after.

I bought the Journal as a present it was well received & is being used

I gifted this to a friend early on in her pregnancy so she could capture all those special moments. I saw this in a Moleskine shop in Seoul and immediately knew she would love it. Especially in the age of social media where everything is shared and forgotten in the never ending waterfall of posts, I thought having the option of making something a little more permanent - something you can put on your shelve above the baby crib and then hand it down years later. Fortunately, she shared the same sentiment and enjoys using this to capture all those first that we later forget about! I think it is definitely worth it if the person you are gifting is into journalling and will put in the effort to use it. There are also several other Moleskine journals for different categories that are also pretty cool!
