In an era when networked access to information is nearly universal and wearing influences on your sleeve is normalised, it often feels like everything's been done. Which begs the questions: What's the point of creating? Does the world need another still life of fruit? Another film about love? Does the world need another melody? His second album as Drugdealer, Michael Collins colours these existential conundrums with lush arrangements, memetic melodies, and a vulnerable tunefulness that tries to make sense of self-doubt and connected loneliness in our shared simulacra.

Wild Motion
Wonderful musicianship and harmonies to compliment the excellent songwriting on this album. Put this record on and drift away on the melodic waves. I don't usually like to compare bands etc. but must say when I first listened to this it took me back a few years to an album I bought by June & The Exit Wounds 'A Little More Haven, Hamilton Please' which is by no means a bad thing & in fact made me dig it out & appreciate it all over again. So in summary, buy this & check out my old favourites June & The Exit Wounds. Wild Motion is just such a good song on this though ok bye.
