I was impressed with the construction. This is not a plastic light fixture. It's made from anodized aluminum. The gasket is silicone, being in the tropics, outdoor lighting must be sealed against moisture and insects. Insects attract spiders and spiders attract tree frogs.....and well it quickly becomes a problemThe installation was more difficult than expected so take your time. The sequence of operations is critical to a timely installation. The screws that hold the bezel on are very small and must be installed last so you may be up on a ladder with very tiny short screws....use a magnetic screw driver...I guess I should say that this purchase exceeded my expectations so I recommend this light fixture.

Installation was fairly easy both were up in 15 mins. Installed one infront of the garage and one on the porch. Garage one works without any issues turns on and off automatically. Porch one kept flashing on and off i am assuming because its in an enclosed area and when it triggers cant determine from day time and night time. Fixed it with piece of tape and since it was installed on a switch fixture so just have to flip the switch in the evening hours. Its not the lights fault; its just the area its installed at. I bought four in total covers around the whole house.Update: the day/night senor for the main garage light that is used every night, is no longer working correctly cause the light to flash on and off constantly throughout the night.

This light replaced my old back door fixture. After reading the reviews I was a little skeptical but went ahead an ordered one. if you are not familiar with wiring light fixture beware there is no Instructions plus you have to disassemble the light to mount to the house. The quality is Impressive, my wife made a comment the next morning after installation, that she kept waking up and thought it was time to get up because it was bright outside. I will suggest drilling out the mounting plate instead of trying to knock them out. I will be buying a second one to replace my other fixture.

Very bright light. Hope the neighbors don't complain but it really stands out. Thank goodness I wanted a really bright light. That's why I bought it. Installation was easy but it was tough getting the gasket to stay put while screwing this thing in 10 feet up in the air. However, the construction is solid and I hope it lasts many years.

I installed these on the ceiling of my double wide carport. They come on at dusk and go off at dawn. I was concerned that photo cells wouldn't work under the cover of my carport roof, but they do. They give off lots of light, illuminating my entire carport. I am very happy with this purchase.

I like the specs and construction but as soon as I applied power to it, it shorted internally. Hearing it pop was very frustrating. The installation is a bit over complicated for a wall pack compared to most. The 6 tiny screws and the loose gasket between the case and the lens seem like they could have been engineered differently but it was not hard to install. Since it is a gamble whether the next one will short out I will not be reordering this one.

This is an amazingly bright light. I like the way it lights up the side of my house. I put it in an area that had no light and it illuminates everything. It was very easy to install also.

Great light, Easy to install, replaced existing fixture. Very pleased with the light output. Comes on at dusk and goes off at dawn.
