Absolutely! It’s a great set. We love it. It has everything you need to get started. You’ll want to look online for patterns and basic instructions. But the actual technique of needle felting isn’t tough....start with a few simple patterns and you’ll get the hang of it quickly.

Q: What size gauge are the needles? Are they all the same size?

There are 3 sizes: large 91mm, medium 86mm, small 79mm.

Q: are the wooden handles for holding the needles and if so how do they attach?

the wooden handle comes with a grooved wooden peg; the needle lays in the groove. The peg is narrow at one end and goes into the wooden handle to secure the needle in place~needle up for felting and down for storage inside the handle. Enjoy Felting!
