Best rubber boots.
I have several pairs of lacrosse alpha burlys. My 12 yr old pair size 12 had more room for a pair of thick wool socks. I ordered size 12 in alpha burly was a bit snug with thin socksSo i returned for size 13. If ordering 800 or 1000 gram. Order exact size. If ordeing 1600 gram I would +1 size up for heavy socks. And boots wont be tight. Tight rubber boots in cold are no good!!! Lacrosse are the best. Walking to and from stand. Rocks. Wet bogs. Hills up and down great traction. Stay in tree for hours. After a point when you get home we bought and sold so they could air out and dry faster

Great Choice!
I bought these for my husband and he loves them. Said they are very comfortable, fit as expected and have kept his feet warm without over heating them. So far the coldest weather he has used them in is about 40 degrees Fahrenheit. My husband has muscular calves and these boots were easy to get on and are nice and adjustable. The height of the boot is also good (he is 6'2") and kept his legs dry when walking through tall grass areas. He rides a bike most of the way to his hunting spot and these boots were comfortable while doing that as well.

Great insulated boot
These boots are awesome! I used them in 25 F snowy, wet, nasty weather and they performed flawlessly. Insulation kept my feet very warm while only wearing one pair of socks. Also wore them in 50 F weather and am impressed. Feet did not sweat and they are waterproof. I wish I would have bought them a year or so ago!

Great Cold Weather Hunting Boots!
I bought these mainly for deer hunting and crossing creeks. At first I was wondering how they would work out when walking longer distances while trying to be quiet. If you are use to wearing lace up boots, these will look a little big or clunky when you first try them on, but looks can be deceiving. These are very comfortable to walk in and the outer size is not an issue at all when it comes to sneaking through a timber. I waked up to within 40 yards of a deer laying down in the middle of a timber and he had no idea I was there (I was down wind and he was looking away from me). After watching him a few minutes, I walked away and never startled him. As for the insulation, my toes did get a little chilly after sitting in a deer stand for three or so hours in sub 20 degree weather, but some of that may have been due to the socks I was wearing. Either way, these are definitely warmer than any of my lace up boots. When it comes to the water, I love the idea of being able to cross creeks without worrying about sinking in the mud or stepping in a hole and going over the top of my lace up boots and getting my feet wet in freezing weather. I crossed a creek several times and never had any issues with these leaking. I definitely recommend these to anyone looking for a new pair of cold weather waterproof boots.

Awesome Boots
I wear 14's, I bought 14's. They fit great, but have a lot of play in them especially in walking up or down hills or mountains during hunting season. I wear two pairs of socks. I love these boots, but yes they are hard to get off after you have worn them all day. Clearly the rubber or the insulations swells, and the calf area gets stuck when you take them off. Normal though, welcome to wearing rubber boots.

Big and heavy
These are well built boots. In fact they are so well built, that they are really heavy When I put these on they were hard to walk in. I bought them to keep my feet dry on Elk hunts which I’m sure they would have kept them warm and dry, but I couldn’t see myself walking miles in the woods comfortably. I sent them back and bought another brand. I had high hopes for these booots, but they are just too bulky and heavy to hike in.

Love these boots.
Love these boots. 1000 gram mossy oak alphaburly. Wore them out on 1 degree day in northern Illinois. Feet stayed warm. My feet are not wide, and I wear 10 - 10.5. Size 10 worked best for me, even with thick wool socks. I went to a store and tried on other alphaburlys. Nobody seems to carry the 1000g mossy oak. Based on trial in store, I picked my size. These boots were consistently sized with other alphas. Seem really well made. Climbed a tree stand with no problems at all. Traction is pretty good for a rubber boot. These boots fit tight around the ankle and are super comfortable.

Warm...Comfortable...Easy on & off
Wore these boots in 40°f weather and 20°f snowy weather and feet stayed comfortable all day. There is plenty of air space to allow heat to generate, & to wear heavy socks if needed. They are also very easy to get on & off. AAA+++ item!
