Moda Blockheads: 48 Quilt-Along Blocks Plus Settings for Finished Quilts Kindle Edition

I joined the Moda Blockheads last year in the middle and missed quite a few of the blocks, and then when Hubby was sick, I couldn't finish, now I have the book! I can go to it anytime I want!(Moda Blockheads is a group on FB that is a members group...great fun and quite a challenge even for quilters who have been quilting for years...It is also good for beginners...)

I would not have purchased this book if I had known that, in order to get the applique templates for the large appliques, I have to log onto a website and print them out. This is an expensive book and I can't imagine why they did that.

The book is well made and has thick pages. It has directions for multiple block layouts. My problem with this book is that the only block layout that I want to do as additional blocks that replace the applique blocks. But the blocks that are replaced are not in the book. So now I'm hunting around to find those block patterns and trying to resize them to match the blocks in the book. Frustrated

Not my favorite. I think it’s the drab colors. The instructions are all over the place.

Fantastic. Cover to cover really helpful book for an aspiring quilt maker. 48 blocks designed by the experts made very easy to follow with well explained instructions. I will treasure this book that illustrates and explains a coming together of 6 quilt making artists on a weekly basis over the Internet to share their designs. Thank you!
