Root Mushroom Farm- 30 Mushroom Liquid Cultures / White Elm Oyster (Pleurotus ulmarius)

This liquid culture of Lion's Mane was 100% successful for me. I had previously tried several cultures from pre-colonized spawn bags, but they always ended up with contaminants (I sterilize everything). The liquid culture is the way to go. I stored the syringe in the refrigerator for a few weeks before using. Inoculated grain jars, then transferred to sawdust blocks in bags. No contaminants were ever seen. I do advise a high humidity (~90%) and cooler (~68F) for fruiting. Averaging about a pound per flush per block. Taste and quality is great!

I love this company. I have purchased a few different products from them and have been very pleased so far. I inoculated my bags a little over a week ago and I am already seeing mycelium growth. I'm so excited! You should definitely consider this company for your mushroom growing needs!Update!! It's been almost one month since I inoculated my grain substrate with this spawn and the results are amazing. I pasteurized some straw and added it to some buckets and also my yard. It is growing great in both areas. I couldn't be happier and will be buying some other strains when the weather cools down.

This was the fastest colonizing culture of Lions Mane I have ever bought and I have been doing this for almost 4 years now. I use rye berries in bags for medium. The only reason for the 4 instead of 5 stars is this: The syringes have a weak spot in them where the "v" is on the plunger. This item arrived broken at that spot, thus it was very difficult to inoculate the bags evenly. Seller needs better packaging- wrapping syringe in bubble wrap would alleviate this breakage problem. Thank you.

Syringe was thick with spores. I split the 10ml syringe between 10 jars and all of them are showing healthy growth after just 4 days.For reference I'm using quart jars of sterilized rye berries.

I would totally recommend these spores! At first i wasn't sure if it's going to be worth because the price was great and there where barely any product reviews. I still went for it and I'm glad i did :) My King Oyster mycelium is growing nice and healthy as you can see in the pictures and i can't wait to to brith them but patients is the key :D i also got Enoki mushrooms growing but they take a bit longer as the others :) I'm still very happy with everything. I will post updates once I'm able to birth them :)UPDATE : since a couple of days my hard work starts to grow ;)

I have been growing mushrooms for over 10 years now (shiitake,multiple types of oysters, butt and portabas) for my self and family. I wanted to start growing beech and since I have done this many times before, I thought I would try this strain. I made rye grain, sawdust, popcorn, PF-TEK, aspen sawdust & coffee and straw & manure jars to try. I used a sterile box (like I do with all my other spore injections) and set them all to the side for almost 4 weeks. The ONLY one that started to grow was the popcorn jar. I had 2 PF-TEK jars left over and some pink oyster spores, from another vendor, so I did them while I was at it.I emailed the seller and he flat out stated that his spores were good and that I should follow the instructions (which there were none until he emailed them to me afterwards!!!) I read his instructions and I HAD done it properly to begin with it turns out. So I thought "Hmm, it must be a super slow growth rate"NOW: it's almost 2.5 months later and the popcorn growth went from the size of a quarter, to the size of about half a dollar bill.... None of the other jars spawned either. In the attached picture, you can barely see the 2.5 months growth in the popcorn. BTW, the 2 pink oyster jars just gave their 1st fruiting yesterday........

I was very happy to receive my order quickly, a special thank you to Root Mushroom Farm for such great service.The Stropharia rugoso annulata (Wine Cap) liquid cultures showed zero signs of contamination and were very healthy. It should be noted that I streak on to agar plates, sub-culture, then use the agar cubes to inoculate grain spawn. If there was even a tiny amount of contamination it would be seen here, instead there is nothing but happy, healthy mycelium. I will definitely be purchasing other varieties from this company, they have many to choose from!

Everything was shipped very timely and in great condition. LC was packed full of Myc and we are still using it after a couple transfers! Beautiful cultures though. Just got Maitake, Lions Mane and Golden Oysters today! Time to get growing.

Culture was toast when it showed up. Took two weeks to arrive, and all 5 cordycep syringes were immediately placed in new jars filled with a sterilized 4% honey solution. Complete waste of time and resources. I have reached out several times to the company without any return. $100 👇🚽.

I purchased three types of mycelium syringes during the course of three months. They grow very well in the grain jars and Ben has been so supportive and helpful in answering all my questions. The best place to grow all kinds of mushrooms with a fraction of the costs than mushroom kits.

Contamination Nation, hoping this company will fix the problem but highly unlikely like any other vendor on Amazon.Brown fuzzy crap growing, not nice white mycelium.Got a reply email from company.Very poor grammar and very unprofessional reply, email seemed like it was wrote by a 6 year old. 0Can't wait for thepir next reply trying to put the blame on me.

It would be had to find a better provider. I ordered this one and another that the postal service busted and they shipped me a replacement right away without issue. Great product and service.
