Great Manga
I love this version of the Rurouni Kenshin. If you haven’t read or watched the original do it too. Also the live action movies are pretty fun to watch as well.

Great Conlusion to alternative timeline
Incredibly good. The art is gorgeous, the action is great. and Jin-e has some great new tricks up his sleeve. If you liked the first Volume, you'll love this one.

Has potential
This volume was better than the first one. This series is still not on the same level as the originals were, but some of the differences were quite good. For example. I like the fact that Kenshin is forced by Saitō to confront the reason for him becoming a wanderer. I also like the hard choices Yahiko must make. I find Yahiko more mature and less of a brat in this series, but that can be again be explained as in the originals were over 28 volumes or 9 volumes of this arc for the character to grow. U-Jin-E seems to be a psychotic self masshicist loving pain and flailing his swords around. The thing I did not really like was they took away the fact that Kaoru they show as someone who had the basics of martial arts but they did not give her a chance to see her swordsman spirit, and her surviving was more about luck than anything else. Also Kenshin has already mastered all his final attacks like the 9 headed dragon, and the final attack. I did like the touch of his glowing scar when he embraced his killer instinct. Also team Kenshin form very quickly with very little bonding time. Like the first volume a slightly better summarised volume of the originals, with the promise of more to come when Saitō tells to step into the pool of blood as bad things are coming.

all in all not bad, not a patch on the original thou.
the adventures continues and as with the first part the artwork continues to improve. I liked this one more than the first but thats because it's longer. theres just too much the artiest has tried to pack in thou, I think Watsuki should have stuck to just the early story arc's, or just picked out one or two and not tried to fit in so many charter's, I think if he'd done this is would have flowed allot better and new reader's wouldn't be so overwhelmed.but the artwork is neater, sharper and beautiful. All in all I really enjoyed this reboot, it's one to add to the collection but I think it's more for fans of the original series mostly. (they'd have a better understanding of what was going on)
