Boobie Bar – The Original Lactation Bar – Oatmeal Chocolate Chip – 11 Individually Wrapped Bars (Oatmeal Chocolate Chip 11 Bars)

I bought these for a first time mother that was having trouble producing enough breastmilk. After seeing these on Shark Tank I bought all 3 flavors for her to see if they would help her.Since I did not use these myself, the review and rating is strictly from the new mother and her experience with Boobie Bars.PROS:1) They absolutely work! The box states you should see results within 3-5 days after eating 1 bar a day. Following that schedule there was a 2.5oz increase in breastmilk in the beginning which increased to 7oz and now 10oz! Originally the baby was on formula due to initial poor production, but have now almost faded out formula completely since milk production is booming! Tried the tea and other products that are cheaper & claim to work, but nothing compares to the results of these bars.2) Great taste! All 3 flavors are good, but the best tasting is the coconut blueberry (tastes like a blueberry muffin). Next favorite is oatmeal chocolate chip. The peanut butter is hard to chew. Not sure if it was just this box or if they’re all like that, but they’re still good.CONS:1) Cost!! This is the only reason for not giving 5 stars. Though the product works, if on a budget it’s hard to pay $22-$25/box for only 6 bars. There’s a lot of mothers out there and a silly price like this shouldn’t be the issue for not having access to this great product.Overall I highly recommend this product and hope that they’ll either increase the amount of bars or lower the price so that every mother can use them.

I am a first time mom and always dreamed about how i would breastfeed my baby. Just like many FTM you think it will be an easy road, but it isnt, at least thats how it was for me! To my surprise when my baby was born my colostrum didn't came in until 3 days after delivery and it clearly wasnt enough to satisfy my baby’s needs! My baby would suck desperately, but nothing will come out, he lost 11.8% of his weight after birth (10% is the max they should lose) so the hospital would not discharge him until he got some weight back! so the nurses told me i had to switch to formula, and I was heartbroken! I was crying and so stressed not to be able to nourish my baby :( I even felt guilty about it because he would cry so much (which actually made it worse because stress does lower your milk supply) and If you are reading this review, then you probably are on the same boat, and understand how frustrating it can be! Right after the nurses told me that I had my bought buy me everything she could find on the market to increase milk supply! And I even took it all at once lol! I tried everything! Fenugreek+Blessed Thistle, fenugreek powder to drink, dill, “agua panela”, you name it! It did help increasing my milk supply, but it still wasnt enough for the baby, so I had to stick ro formula for some more time! Until somebody sent me the boobie bar photo, I looked up all reviews on amazon and decided to give it a try! I have to confess that a bar that seems much like a protein bar didnt much sound like something that would work better than a pill, and even taste so good, but they did! And i am so glad i came across them! I have taken them only for 3 days and my supply has almost doubled, i went from a typical extraction of 6 oz in the morning (3 per breast), and 3oz in the later extractions (1 or 1/2 per breast) to an amazing 8-9 oz (4oz per breast) in the morning and consistently 4oz (2 per breast) in the later extractions! I have been able to freeze so much already! More than what i had frozen on 2 weeks! (See picture attached. Flat bags are before boobie bar (2 weeks) blue bags are after 4 days!)So if you are looking for something to increase your milk supply this is the product! It is a bit pricey, but hey! Isnt your little one worth every penny? Not to mention that being able to give breastmilk along with all its benefits to your baby, and also have him breastfeed and bond to you is just priceless! Plus formula is super expensive as well, so is not like you will save money with the formula option!PD. I dont usually leave reviews, but I thought it was worrh the time writing it to help other moms who are on the same boat!

I’ve been trying everything to get my milk supply back where it was at when I first had my son- oatmeal, ben & jerry oats of this world ice cream, power pump, pink drink, fenegreek & nothing was working but I got this to my house Monday and it’s now Friday and every day I have got between a 5 & 6 oz bottle every day & for the past 2 months it would take me 3 days to get that pumping! Just ordered my second box

These bars are a god send!! I was pumping .5oz between BOTH boobs it was dishartining to say the least. My baby was crying constantly and I knew she was hungry. I tried all the tips and tricks and would squeeze out 1 ounce between both boobs if I was lucky. I bought two boxes of these to try (oatmeal chocolate chip) not only do they taste AMAZING I now get 7!!!! Ounces from ONE boob! Do you ladies hear me!!? I get 7 ounces in my first pump session of the day 5:30am ish after feeding all night too! Then I get about 3/4 ounces PER BOOB through out the rest of the day. This is a magic bar please if your struggling with low supply the cost is worth it!

I was shopping for lactation supplements because mine ran out and are no longer available. Amazon recommended these bars. I am EPing for the second time and have never found dairy and egg free lactation cookies or bars. I know there are recipes, but if I ever have enough free time to bake, I'll be taking a nap! These bars are vegan so I figured I'd give them a try.Pros:- They taste great and are basically chocolate chip cookies. The texture reminds me of Fig Newton's - kind of crumbly. The taste is similar to oatmeal chocolate chip cookies without the raisins (must be the spices).- 1 bar can replace pills and tea, but I'll still be drinking tea and may continue taking supplements along with the bars.- Individually wrapped so it's easier to stop at 1, compared to a bag of cookies.Cons:- Only 6 in a box and kind of pricey, but about the same price as protein or meal replacement bars and equivalent in calories.As far as performance, I am not sure because I had already been taking other supplements, but the first time I ate one I took a nap and then pumped my 4th highest volume of all time. Could be coincidence, but definitely worth trying if you're looking for a boost and a delicious snack.
