Looks like any other Budget umbrella but @ premium price. Pole is not any thicker than the cheap umbrellas so we will see how long it will last. Not impressed so far.

This Treasure Garden umbrella is a fine product but only if you get the one treated with O'Bravia 2. I purchased a red umbrella from PatioLiving, and since the ship time was 4 weeks I decided to buy the same item on Amazon with the idea of keeping both. The one from Amazon came in a week and was treated with Obravia 2. The material was clearly treated and had a stiffness to it that I assume was the OBravia 2 coating. When the same item was delivered from PatioLiving I noticed that the material felt like new material without any coating. You could clearly see the sun thru the material unlike the Amazon one (see the pictures). When I read the PatioLiving umbrella label, it indicated O'bravia and NOT O'bravia 2. In fact there did't seem to be any treatment on the material at all. Also the ties on the PatioLiving version were much shorter and impossible to do a bow-tie. The Amazon Treasure Garden umbrella was the same price. I contacted PatioLiving about this and so far after 3+ weeks they have not offered me a full refund or a replacement with O'Bravia 2. If I hadn't purchase the same item on Amazon, it would not have been so clear that I received a substandard product from PatioLiving. Buy this item here on Amazon. They clearly indicate that it is Obravia 2 and you know what you are paying for.

Imho this is a good quality umbrella that should hold up over time. BUT, if you're looking for a lower cost piece that you see at your basic overstock store or in the lobby at your local grocery store - you should buy that one.That said, after noticing how nice the Treasure Garden (Obravia fabric) umbrellas were at our vacation home rental this spring I asked the Google Machine how much $ they were and for reviews. I was kinda surprised by their relative lower cost so I immediately ordered one for home. The original ship date was a little long but in the end we had it quite a bit sooner than originally estimated. We are pleased with the umbrella so far and hope it holds up on our always breezy (and often windy) patio. We keep it folded/tied when not in use, allow it to dry completely after rain, have it affixed to a very heavy base, and will store it in the off-season so I'm pretty confident we'll get many years of enjoyment out of it.

We bought Treasure Garden umbrellas about 10 years ago. We loved them. Then a few weeks ago a sudden strong gust of wind blew them over causing unrepairable damage.So naturally we wanted to buy Treasure Garden umbrellas again. When they arrived, we were surprised to see how much stronger the fabric was when compared to our 10 year-old umbrellas. They're sturdy and look fabulous on our patio.

Better than expected

Mr. patio was wonderful. We had a part that was defective and they handled it quickly and efficiently. Awesome customer service.

Pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to get this umbrella. It came in a cardboard box and only required snapping the bottom pole into the top pole. I was leery of it matching the awning but got lucky. Living at 7000 ft altitude in Santa Fe where it is sunny 300 days a year (at least) will test the sun fading guarantee but at this price I am willing to do the experiment. Very happy with this purchase.

Very sturdy, well made umbrella. I can tell that it is a superior umbrella compared to my last one. Feels cooler under its shade. Love how it tilts- no standing up on the table anymore to make it tilt- great design
