These are the BEST scratch mitts around. They are tight enough to actually stay on, but not too tight to be uncomfortable. They fit my daughter as a newborn and still fit her at 4 months old. I rarely use them now, but some nights when she's especially fussy I'll throw these on her.They are adorable! They become more soft after each wash and the colors match all of her little outfits. Seriously, get these! They are far superior to the ones you'll find in stores.

They fit well for newborns to 3mo. I would say. They are a good size so baby can open hands while wearing them if they would like. The elastic gets a bit tight around the wrist if worn to long. So be careful with that. Otherwise they work really well.

As others have mentioned, these are bigger than the standard mittens, and the elastic is tighter/more sturdy. I like them because my three week old daughter can extend her fingers in them, and they don't fall off constantly. The only reason I didn't rate them higher is because the fabric pattens aren't very attractive.

This is a great product, i bought this based on the reviews , it was a perfect buy for my new born. My friends suggested me to buy mittens before hand as newborn can scratch themselves a lot. My baby had sharp nails. I used this from day one, First I was so afraid to cut her nails, so i kept on using them but doctor not to use them much as they need to explore things only with there hands. My baby is 2 month now , I still use them at night and when its cold. The elastic is great , they are not too tight or loose. I usually don't review items but this was a life saver . I did buy other ones which shrunk very bad and the elastic was too tight from other brands . They saved lot of scratches on my baby

I purchased multiple mittens before my baby was born, not knowing there was a difference. These are the only ones that work/stay on my very little baby. They stay small enough on her wrists but provide ample space for her fingers to move/grasp/stretch. These have been a savior in preventing face scratches. Very happy I picked these randomly because they were so cute!

You can't beat the price. Bought them for my newborn baby boy and I have no problem using the pink ones as its for a baby who doesn't care and by two parents who like to have a scratch free baby face. They are soft, and more importantly they actually STAY ON!! Anybody with a newborn knows how very Harry Houdini these babies can be when it comes to scratch mittens, I came this close to buying a pricey pair of mittens with Velcro but went with my gut, so glad I did. Will buy more soon most likely since they work so great.

These mittens are the best! The fabric is thin so it keeps a baby's hands cool and they actually DONT fall off my baby girl's hand but are not constricting around her wrist. All the other mittens they sell at the store (like the Gerbers brand) are terrible bc they fall off and the hand part is way too small so when my daughter stretches her fingers they slide right off. They are a very good price too! Only $7 for 6 pairs.
