Variable temperature?

The Nescafe Dolce Gusto has just a standard Temperature, you fill up the water tank with cold water and clip it into the back, then press the button on top till it stays green, then put in the pod of your choice, put cup on the stand and move lever down to the right and it will give you a nice HOT drink. I find this a great machine.

What is tank size pls?

Enough for 3 mugs or 4 coffee cups

Why is there left over liquid in the capsules after making it, should they be empty ?

There will always be a tiny amount of liquid remaining ,due to the conical shape and the position of the membrane in the pod. As it is virtually all water by the end of the process it is to be expected. If you leave it several minutes even the slight drip will stop. Enjoy your coffee.

Does this machine make milkshakes

This Coffee Machine is just for making Coffee. You put the Coffee Pod in the top of machine and move the handle at the top to start the water to go into the cup.
