Otherwise nice desk writing pad
The side compartments had the leather pulling away from the plastic molding. I had to glue them to keep them from separating further. Otherwise nice desk writing pad.

Quality control
I was not happy with the quality. The leather was coming apart from the plastic along the entire seam on both sides. I tried super glue to try and fix it... but that only made it worse and then of course I was unable to return.

I bought this for my husband's new desk and he was very happy with it. Very good quality and an excellent price. The little side pockets which hold paperclips is a plus!

Excellent Product
Grandson just got a new desk - this pad was an excellent choice to protect the new wood - side panels open for storing pencils, paper clips. Really fine looking as well.
