Something Forbidden

This is a great erotic read from Kenny Wright. As the story unfolds, the beautiful heroine gradually transitions from a loving wife who enjoys a strong, healthy sex life with her husband, to a loving wife who enjoys a smoking, hot sex life with men, one in particular, not her husband (but with his knowledge and concurrence.....at least we think so in the beginning, but then.....). Strong sexual tension and stimulating plot twists/surprises, make this read truly a keeper. One recommendation, offered as a personal preference rather than as a criticism, regarding the story content: I wanted the heroine to describe the details of her date with the man who invited her to accompany him to an erotic art show....she went to the show with her husband's knowledge, and she recounts the night to her husband when she returns home.....but we do not learn the details of her cab ride to meet her "lover", the moments when he first sees her in the amazingly sexy outfit that she bought just for the date, the dialog between her and him, etc. etc. With what we do know about her preparation for the night out, we know that she anticipated the night and was really excited by what she expected to happen....including how her "lover" would react to her, both "fully" clothed, and fully naked. We do learn of the night she spends with him, but the details are of a higher level than I would have preferred. A lot happended that night but many stimulating details were left in the "white space" on the pages. Not a negative comment, but an attempt to idenfiy an opportunity to build the "hotness quotient" to something closer to a max score....whatever that is. Thx, Kenny Wright. Really appreciate the story. Loved it!!

Kenny Wright really nails it in this genre. He's well in touch with the feelings and complex emotions of both genders. As I read somewhere, he's had input from his wife or other women for the female character. She is fully realistic - not a female with a male brain as I've found with some other authors. I think that, whether or not the readers are conscious of this, it's a major contributor to the great success of Kenny's writing.While some questions remain in the details of the plot, I'm fine with it. The story never loses momentum and keeps you coming back for more.

This is my second Kenny Wright novel (after Just Watch Me), and once again he has delivered a very erotic tale, well-told. Until near the end, it appears to be the story of a man willingly a cuckold. However, it also is a tale of a wife liberating her own sexuality and wanting very much to liberate her husband's sexuality, as well. The author is a very talented writer. I look forward to his future titillating reads.It takes many chapters for this story to play itself out, and great sensual tension is the result.I just finished reading this deliciously sexual novel for a second time. Yes, I think this would be a GREAT book for couples to read together--preferably reading to each other, alternating chapters between them. So much fodder for communication. Like most men (I suspect) I would love to see my wife luxuriating in uninhibited sex with other people (having such a great, liberating experience with her own sexuality!), and it would be fantastic if she gave me the same freedom. I realize that many (perhaps most?) women would not even entertain the idea, let alone pursue that experience. Well... Kate didn't think she would, either. But then she did! I urge sexually curious women to read this book and then evaluate their own reactions. If you do, ladies, please write your own review of this book!

This is the perfect first hotwife book for readers curious about this kink. It's exciting and sexy to see things from Max's point of view. You understand why he is so turned on but also worried about his wife being intimate with another man. Too bad I can't stand Chloe. I know she's supposed to be bitchy and the author wants you to hate her, but I wish she was a more well-rounded character instead of just a selfish, promiscuous woman. And I wish the second half of the book wasn't so predictable. But I do like how Max and Katie and John and Nadia's relationships are so strong. You can tell they really love, respect, and support each other. John's crush on Katie and Max's crush on Nadia is sweet and sexy. Some of the hottest parts are when Max talks dirty to his wife about how naughty she was with other men. Sometimes those parts are sexier than the actual sex scenes (though those were quite hot). I've checked out a lot of the top hotwife (or cuckold) authors' stories and I still think Kenny is the best. And I really appreciate the beautiful covers that he designs! I'm definitely looking forward to reading more of his books.

Excellent build up. Believable characters.And great plot. Enjoyed everything about this one, despite a few minor typos and errant name. The story follows a first time hotwife and cuckold...plenty of first time angst. I Specifically enjoy the physical seperation aspects where wife or husband has to "go away" for awhile and the loss of connection that invariably results. This was well done in this story and not over done either. The antagonist/s did their part well too. Having read several of Kenny' s books I can say this one is in my top two or three favorites of his.

I've just finished this and I'm looking forward to the sequel. I most certainly enjoyed the story and found it to be sexy and exciting, filled with the angst that is so important in this type of work. The lead characters, Max and Kate, were great and I enjoyed their interaction as the reality of Kate becoming as"hotwife" took hold. Due to the storyline,I could see where Cloe and her husband had to fit in in the grand scheme of things but, and it's only my opinion, I felt their "swinging" style didn't enhance the sexiness of what Kate and Max were going through and I felt Kate's coupling with her colleague and friend who she cared for, near the story's conclusion, was more meaningful and the angst that Max felt could have been ratcheted up if more had been made of that feature. This book was great as is just about all of this guy's books are. Recommended!!

A big thanks to Kenny for writing this story! I couldn't and have not stopped reading once I started! I think I need to read all his work! The awakening of Max fanrasy and the love and trust needed to reach a happy end are very well described and brought to life in this mesmerizing story!

Wow.. this story by kenny Wright is one of the few happy ends i really enjoyed reading. i never expected the storys turn around!i loved every minute of reading it. absolutely one of his many bests (just watch me or Ian`s obsession)actors are quite normal familiy people (altough the upper class)one can believe the feelings of max the actors are described perfectly!!i want to have more of these stories kenny or kirsten!!

I loved it! make sure you read the sequel "Nothing Forbidden" As a guy this author seems to be able to write from the wife's POV as well as the husband with uncanny emotions.

This novel is a great example of a must read in one sitting tome. Well developed characters, steady build up of the story, and a believable and somewhat unexpected ending.All the other want to be "writers of Erotic Porn", should read and take notes!

This has to be the best erotic story I have ever read, and yes it has a very realistic storyline.I was once in the swinging scene myself, in the 80's when it was socially acceptable and safe, so I know exactly where the author is coming from.The lust, the jealousy, the excitement are all portrayed beautifully here and hand crafted with obvious inside knowledge. If you lust after your best friend's spouse then this book is a guide or a warning, whichever way you and your partner choose to goRead it in bed with your partner, I guarantee you won't get a minute's sleep...and who knows what it might lead to!

I don't normally write book reviews, but I was so impressed with Something Forbidden. This is a really well written & constructed story. And that is the point - it is a story with a real plot cleverly disguised at the start & slowly developing, believable characters that you either love or hate set in the context of their personalities & their emotions and scenarios that are realistic. Oh yes, & the sex scenes are very hot (to use the vernacular).I have now read quite a few erotic novels and they range from Tittilating at one end of the spectrum to pornographic at the other. Both are valid & depend on what turns you or what you are looking for at a particular moment. I like both depending on my mood. But this story is both compelling (in a thrilling sense) & draws you in to care about the main characters as well as intensely arousing.There is a passage at about 70% that is probably the best erotic passage I have ever read. The writing is quite brilliant & manages to convey the earthiness of naughty/dirty sex without the usual over-the-top basic vocabulary. As importantly, the scene is set within the plot (you will have to read it to understand what I mean - not going to give it away here) & not just a gratuitous description of sex acts. I read it on a train with my legs crossed (to save mine or anybody else's embarrassment) & just said 'wow!' as I finished it much to the bemusement of my fellow passengers. I was so moved (rocked!) that I had to text my wife to tell her about it. Can't wait for her to read it!If you like erotica or if you like a good, well written book then I throroughly recommend Something Forbidden.

The title should have been ' The Agony and the ecstasy '. This guy really knew his stuff when writing about Hotwifing. For anyone who has sampled this adventure Kenny Wright couldn't have done it better. The first 75% of this tale' through the husbands narrative ' my heart was racing as I've been in the same state. If your into Hotwifing this is a must.

My review of this book is in two parts - firstly the content and then the story line.The content relating to the wife's relationship with the main players and the feelings of the husband was real and at times almost breathtaking. The small, but killer, secret discovery by the husband prior to the gallery opening event (circa 57% point) was superbly presented. I could suggest a little more nuance in the getting-ready scenes prior to a liason, and perhaps more detail of the casual play on nights out, but the triple edge of fear, jealousy and sexual stimulation was all there. Once again the mind of the husband who watches, and the wife who steps out, is clearly and well understood by the author.The story line, whilst well developed and flowing, had too many distractions for me; I preferred the simplicity of the 'Just Watch Me' story, maybe with more being made of the wife's relationship with a trusted colleague in this one.However, that said, this book was so close to reality that I had to read it in installments, pausing before each new development. I can fully recommend it to those who appreciate this world.

I usually prefer erotica written by women as it tends to be softer but this had great characterisation which bought the scenes to life. I was so disappointed when it ended and will be looking to read more from this author. I agree with another reviewer about the scene around 70% being one of the hottest ever!

An erotic cuckold story.Great writing that's easy to read, moderately paced and flushed out characters. A story for the wifeys and husbands out there that is gripping, sexy as hell and not without its fair share of twists and turns.I have many of Wright's ebooks waiting to be read but chose this as my first as it was recommended. I'll definitely be reading more of his works.

Well that's 3 quid down the drain, then again if it's a word count you're paying for it's a good deal seeing as there's just short of 64 THOUSAND of them, that's less than 5p per 1,000 words !!! mind you that's about the value of these words.As for the intrigue (or lack of it) the Wright Brothers took off faster than this novel does and Guy Fawkes had a better plot than this one.What really finished it for me was when writers don't know how to use exclamation, punctuation or even full stops :-( there's scores of sentences that end without a full stop. A better faster moving plot might have made that tolerable, but when every event seems to be dragged out to go for a gold in the word count it really does become wearisome.I don't mean to offend the Author, but there's better stuff on Literotica for free. If writers expect folks to pay for the privilege then they need to have a better imagination and then get someone (who finished High School) to proof read what they write, to be honest this novel was rubbish in more ways than one !!!
