About the Author Professor Karel Lewit is a neurologist and specialist in manual medicine of international reputation, and one of the founding members of the Prague school. He is still working and teaching as a professor in Prague. He played a decisive role in promoting manual medicine in central Europe. Doctors and physiotherapists in Germany are to this day largely taught according to his principles. He worked together with Vladimir Janda and Philip Greenman, and his postisometric relaxation (PIR) and reciprocal inhibition (RI) were developed from Mitchel’s muscle energy technique. Read more

as stated, this is a wonderful piece of art.anyone who had the chance to spend time with Prof. Lewit knows about his amazing knowledge, wisdom and incredible clinical skills.every chapter has incredible info. his descriptions of foundations, techniques, clinical application and overall, the description of clinical conditions make this book a "must have".you'll find superb clinical pearls and his descriptions of signs/symptoms to watch for different conditions are simply fantastic and very practical.THIS ONE GOES TO YOU PROF. I ordered this book for my daughter, it was one she wanted and needed for her profession. I ordered it the week before Christmas and it arrived in near perfect condition in plenty of time. I was happy with it. She was happy with it also. Book condition was as described.
