Really enjoyed this. Very different from Joan's other books. Pity Aggie was so similar to Nellie. Feel Joan has the ability to create as good a character as Nellie. But different. Enjoy reading about those days and the hardships the people experienced. Very real. Thank you.

I have read a lot of books written by Joan Jonker and have fallen in love with each and every one. WHEN WISHES COME TRUE is no exception. Loved it!
