NOT GOOD
I expected the book to include the professional photos from pontiac and there advertisers ,only a few , No full page pics, most pics are small, 90% of pics are taken by owners outside of their houses in driveways and in street, poor quality, no detail in interior pics , interior pics are mostly with open door shot from 5 paces, this is supposed to be a history of the fire bird yet they include so many cars that arent factory, bad flame jobs and ugly customs. some attention paid to the fire hawk but nothing about the blackbird . at the end of the book there is a short summery of specs price, motor type, HP , the basics , it starts with 67 and for a reason i would like explained to me it ends in 99 and there is nothing for 2000, 2001 , 2002, i would have liked to have specs 2001 and 2002 fire hawk and blackbird. also stupid factoids what do i care if homer simpson bought a firebird on the cartoon.

Great Gift for a Firebird Trans Am Firehawk Fan or for yourself.
This all new 3rd edition has several nice additions, some updated information on special edition cars and some convertible models. This is the best of the bunch by far. I highly recommend it for any Firebird Enthusiast.

Pontiac Firebird-The Auto-Biography Hardcover book-Marc Cranswick.Good Book.
I was able to get this book for less than $20 shipped and in really good condition, It has 192 pages,Hardcover, At times it's more of a reader than pictorial, but it's a Good Firebird Hardcover, and it is well written by A EnglishMan. (And yes you can understand it) References to other vehicles/competition, Good Color Photos, some seem a little bad quality, Featuring Cars Like Trans-Am Specialities Bandit Replica T/A, As Well As Macho T/A,Redbird, Mentions Skybird,Silverbird, Also Featuring Anniversary T/A, TURBO T/A FORMULAS. Overall Good book, F-BODY Fans should get it and the David Newhardt Firebird Trans Am Book(Softcover,Mbi). Both A Must!Jose

Fun Book!
This book is a fun read for Firebird fans or muscle car fans. Lots of history, however the author fails to mention significant advancements in the Firebird line that lead to changes he mentioned about later models. There are some gaps in the timeline, especially in the mid 80's models that the casual reader will never notice, however are readily apparent to any diehard F Body fan. It's a fun book with nice pictures, however cannot be considered as a Firebird bible due to the incomplete nature of the timeline.

Excellent book
My husband had an earlier edition of this book which he enjoyed very much and as he owns a Pontiac, it is a very useful reference. Would definitely recommend if you are interested in this type of car.
