Exedy Clutch Kit - KHC03

I bought this for my 01 Honda prelude. I learned how to drive manual, taught my girl how to drive manual, let all my friends drive it, been to a few track events, got tuned twice, completely blew up my first transmission and 30k miles later on the same clutch still not a single issue with it. Have absolutely no complaint on it at all!!

Edit: I realized the original review was written for the OEM Exedy kit for my S2000.. As for this kit it was still working fine when I sold the car to a friend. He eventually sold the car a couple years after that and as far as I know he never had to replace the clutch again! But for piece of mind I'd run this kit with OEM bearings! I had the similar OEM exedy kit on my S2000 for about 7 years and 70K miles. flywheel and pressure plate still looked new but the throw out bearing went out and I replaced the whole thing with the ACT/OEM combo

Love the fact that it feels just like oem. So far so good a month later, installed in my 2001 prelude SH and it wasn’t easy at all due to the atts system. But other than that everything went in like a glove. Didn’t end up using the release bearing provided in this package as they have the tendency to not last as long as OEM so I just ordered one from the dealership. Will definitely purchase this again in the future when my clutch wears out.

Clutch does not fit! Do not buy! Spline hole on clutch is not big enough for input shaft.

contents in the box were in great condition. there is one problem, the alignment tool does not fit into flywheels with a pilot bearing or journal bearing type. i had to sand down the tool tip in order to get it to fit the hole properly. and a hell of a difference when going from a racing clutch, a 5 year old kid could puch this clutch to the floor no problem, good replacement factory clutch went in fine

We'll, I had to purchase another clutch kit and chose this one again. I took another chance because the last one I purchased was in July of 2016. That's right! Just shy of 4 years and a month. What else can I tell you. I have a 1998 Honda Prelude V- tech DOHC and it lasted that long. Easy for the mechanics to install and a complete kit!

Excellent product. VERY high quality. However, if I ever have to replace a clutch on a front wheel drive car again, I'm going to pull the entire motor and transmission out of the car together. It was a real bear to replace, lying on my back in my driveway. Great clutch just a really nasty job. Not looking forward to ever doing it again.
