Wealth of knowledge
This book has a comprehensive explanation of double rake loom knitting, with easy-to-understand color diagrams and photos. Beginning and advanced concepts and techniques are covered. The stitch diagrams really clarify the written directions. I appreciate both for learning new techniques. I am a beginner, and this really helps me to understand the fundamentals of the different stitches.

Holy Grail of Double Rake (Loom) Knitting
Confession Time: I can't purl due to thumb joint issues. So, here is my update on the double knitting books I purchased from Amazon. I bought #1 and #3.Verdict: These are the holy grail of double loom knitting. You will not need any other references. Period.Pros: Written for the beginner. It has vocabulary terms along with thorough explanations of even the simplest of concepts. There are multiple ways to learn: written commentary, chart diagram, loop diagram, and photo. And, if you look up the author on Facebook, she will respond to any questions you have and help with your project!!

Simple guide to loom knitting
I was concerned about this book being a duplication of the other two books I bought by the same author. By the time I purchased this one, I was actually advanced enough in my skill that this book seemed too simple, and yes, it was a bit of a duplication of information. I would still recommend it for the beginner and those who are just getting started with loom knitting. It gives good explanation of terms and techniques that are important to loom knitting. There are a few stitch patterns, but not nearly as much as the other two books. I purchased this as a Kindle book and I'm glad I did. It doesn't have as much to offer to an intermediate loomer as it does for the beginner. I have to agree with many of the other commenters though, that this book really should be purchased as a physical book. Some of the illustrations were just too small for me to see. I can't seem to enlarge them either, maybe because I'm not using a phone to view it. I use my laptop for all things knitting and it just doesn't allow for enlarging the pictures. If you are considering the Kindle option for this book, I would advise against it. Go for the real paper and ink book. If all you have done in looming so far is simple hats and scarves, this would be a good book for you.

WORTH THE PRICE.
For those new to double-rake loom knitting (which I find even easier than round loom knitting), and even for those (like me) who have already done double knitting, this book has the necessary information plus tips and tricks to make you a confident double-knitter in no time. I recommend.

Really Worthwhile Book
This book helped me get started with double rake loom knitting and it opened the way for me to experience a new way to create fabric. It is a cross between knitting and weaving, and provides a structure that produces an even and consistent outcome. The book is not an easy read but it introduces a systematic way of explaining EXACTLY how to do stitches using loop diagrams that I've never seen anywhere else. These diagrams show you the full three dimensions of the knitting movements and make it clear how they have to be carried out over time. It's worth it to work your way through it because once you get the hang of the loop diagrams, it opens up a lot of possibilities.I really love it. Not only can you be creative by using the stitches that she provides, but she has inspired me to try my own stitch patterns. This is not a knitting machine, but an easier way to be totally in control of your work without making a lot of frustrating mistakes. I found it both relaxing and productive at the same time.It is great for the beginner (me) but offers colorful swatches, diagrams and clearly depicted charts for much more advanced knitters. I plan to grow with the book as I advance.

Fabulous book!
Disclaimer : I have not yet had a chance to actually do one of the projects, but I have gone through the book thoroughly and it is wonderful. The pictures are beautiful and there are detailed instructions and clear diagrams. I received an early edition of the book that had a couple errors and the author pro-actively contacted me to offer me a chance to either exchange the book or receive a pdf of the changed pages. The stitches in the book are very cool and I am especially looking forward to trying the beaded stitches! Some loom knitting books can seem quite cryptic in their descriptions, but this one is a gem that was well thought out and meticulously written. A must have for any loom knitter!!

Best way to learn a new way of knitting for the disabled
This is a great book! I'm paralyzed and always wanted to learn to knit. But how do you knit with 2 sticks and only 1 hand? you may ask. Well get , read, and follow the instructions in this book and just take your time and be patience and you'll be real happy on it's results - Now I can knit with a loom. :-)

Clear line drawings
At last a knitting loom book that actually shows a myriad of stitches with lovely clear line drawings even I can follow. The first half of the book is a little confusing as it goes into great detail of advanced techniques. The workings of the stitches comes after. Once you have mastered the individual stitches, THEN you can go back and learn the techniques. Well that’s how I’d do it. Now that arthritis has reduced my finger dexterity, loom knitting will become my new hobby.

A Brilliant Guide to Double Rake Loom Knitting
A brilliant guide to double Loom Knitting, this goes through everything from yarn selection, casting on, the various stitches of which there are basic through to advanced, how to cast off. It is a well written book & I know I will be using this quite often. I am totally new to double Loom Knitting but have already mastered the Brioche stitch and am 3/4 of the way through making a scarf using that stitch - thank you Kera for such a great book - I highly recommend it to anyone whether you are just starting out or have been looming for a while.

Great little book
This one gives you lessons on how to use the double rake. The author has a rather unique way of how she writes the patterns stitches and it takes a bit patience to understand it fully. The stitches included are very nice with basic ones on up to more challenging ones. The photos are nice and gives you a pretty good idea on how they are going to look. Nice book to have in your collection.
