Installed rope in loops easily and brings flag down quickly due too weight of snap clips. Vinyl coating is well done protects pole and covers clips well. A little pricy, but good quality.

I bought 6 of these because I have three flags and I agree with one of the other reviewers in that the clip openings are too small to fit through the grommets on my flags do to the coating being too thick; I'll be sending these back.

After the original plastic hooks on my flag pole broke I wanted a brass snap. I was concerned about a metal snap clanging against the pole. I found these and figured I'd give them a shot. After trimming the rubber coating a little to get the hook through the flag grommet it works great. Very little noise when the hook taps against the pole.

These clips are now flying on an American Flag that is installed on a 20 foot pole 25 feet from the US/Canadian Border in Blaine WA. The clips are heavy duty, coated with a rubber like coating to keep brass clips inside from coloring in the NW moisture. The service was fast as I wanted, the they arrived on Memorial Day, and where promptly installed. (feetdry)

My husband purchased these to hold our flag up when we display it on our porch. Works great.

The rubber makes getting the snap ring clipped into the flag grommets difficult, but it prevents the metal on metal wear that shortens the life of both snap rings and flags. The coating also prevents the snap ring from slipping on the halyard in high winds.

The snaps can last for a decade or two..But Not this product's snaps..they arent deluxe actually. The white coating may be cool but its not that functional , i could even use them.1) The loop space onside of clip side is actually Too small to hold the lines. 2) The loop on bottom..lacks a swivel component..which means flag never lays quite right. My photo has my old snaps..which I ended up re-usuing .

It as easy to install. It looks like it should last as long as my last rope kit lasted almost 6 year thru Thunder storms, wind storms and at least two hurricanes that came thru my area before the rope became frayed.
