Not what I expected
Either this is an older version or there could be something wrong with this one key but I don't think so. First off they should mention that it is NOT free for life. All the good features go away after a year and if you want to keep them it's a $4.99/ month fee. It would be worth it if it did what I thought it would but it doesn't. I was thinking it would work as a PW manager, smart card. and MFA device It kind of does in a way but it cannot be used as a true smart card and log you into Windows or do anything outside it's own environment. Everything must be run from inside the device which is good in a way but makes the password manager useless for anything outside the device. I love the sandboxed environment it creates but the UI is outdated and boring.I had high hopes for this product and it fell flat. The encryption is top notch but what good does it do you if you hate the environment it must be used in as your main browser and everything else essentially. You can't even exit the program without it forcing you to remove the key. I know this is for security reasons but I wanted to see what it was doing while it had their browser up. Luckily I use multiple monitors and you can still use an elevated command to bring up task manger and go from there on a separate screen or a VM. It's not recognized as a smart card at all but only a portable device in device manager and doesn't work with OpenPGP at all as far as I can tell. I plan on contacting support soon but wanted to post this asap. This is a lot of money to spend on such a limited device. I honestly don't understand how so many people are giving this thing such great reviews. It's not very sturdy and I don't believe it could be carried on a key chain with keys for very long before being damaged. If you squeeze it to hard you can break it.One more thing it will not work right unless plugged directly into a USB port on your device. I tried in on 8 different USB hobs some powered some not and it would not light up. Also the Bluetooth functionality is extremely limited as of now and their doesn't appear to be NFC support yet either. There is a button on the back of the key portion of the device that is not mentioned anywhere in the instructions or the videos. I believe the button is used for Bluetooth pairing and it emits a sound when pressed like a WiFi connection tone. Their website is completely useless for trying to get support so I am going to have to contact them directly. I am hoping that this is all wrong and this is just a bad key but I have the distinct feeling that I'm not. Unfortunately I believe they have oversold this product as something it's not and will never be. I will update this review based on the outcome and answers I get from Qkey.

Good for a first gen attempt
A bit larger than other security fobs but that's to be expected with a built in battery and charger I guess. The battery didn't hold a charge for long and the find-my-key feature didn't work after it dies in a few days. You'll need to plug it in fairly often to charge it. The UI is cringe worthy. Not polished and difficult to navigate. It seems feature rich but the features have only been partly developed. Great concept and good first version design. The next generations will hopefully be smaller and friendlier.

Keeping your p.c. info Private π
I originally bought this because I was looking for a Microsoft security key. This is not only a key but I can save all my pass words and private info to it instead of Google or edge always knowing this stuff. As I am still setting thus up waiting for pay day because this thing does ask you for $1.00 for verification purposes that it does return back to you for verification purposes while setting this up.

Not what I had hoped for.
Excellent design and security features. However, the after 1yr cost of $4.99 a month was a surprise it would be cheaper to buy a new key! The interface is a little clunky but a big problem is you cannot move it from the main screen. I use several monitors and I wanted to move it to another screen, can't! It just fell short of what I expected. If you need a secure online shopping environment than this is for you. For anything else try another key.

I just can't trust it
I have no idea what the interface is like because the very first thing this product does is require credit card information for it's "free for life" service. They'll charge me a dollar then reimburse me? WTH? If I could at least enter the interface and see if I'd like it, maybe. But I'm not giving my cc # to a company I've never heard of for the privilege of accessing the service I've already paid $90 for!EDIT: Down to one star because they refuse to take the product back because I took more than 30 days to realize what it was (it was an Xmas gift). The fact is that their product description is dishonest and I don't think it's unreasonable to be hesitant giving credit card information to a company that claims to offer a "free" service. (In their response to me they said giving the cc info was "optional" but the interface wouldn't let me in without doing it.)

Encrypted encryptioning encryption
Ever bought something and cannot justify your purchase at all? That's what this is. I keep thinking I will set it up one day but sorry. My iPhone notes are already encrypted

not what advertised.
Sgt. rickert, correct indeed. Not at all what was advertised. Sorry to say, I was hoping it to be the "smart card" in our contracting language it had stated including allowing me to get into my wawf account but, apparently the language was to get sells rather than it's worth. Once it gets to wawf.eb.mil the screen becomes blank, other needed websites are blank web pages as well.I'm returning mine.
