These gloves are nice and comfortable and let my hands breathe for the most part. The kevlar palms are pretty tough, but the problem comes in with the stitching that holds those kevlar sections to the glove. They need a stronger thread or maybe just MORE thread. I have a fairly high friction job, and the threads have been breaking and the kevlar panels are slowly pealing up. Still a quality glove, just hoped for more life out of them than a month or so.

Needed the longer cuff
To seamlessly protect my wrist and lower arm by tucking my jacket into the extended cuff. Worked perfectly.I wear gloves a lot of work, tried a lot of different brands and styles, Youngstown is the best so far.

Comfortable
Very comfortable and easy to work in. No break in either. They didn't hold up as well as leather gloves though. The thumb started coming apart at the stitching.

Not for grounding with a hand-line
Awesome gloves for climbing poles and general linework, as they fit well and are nicely flexible; but I strongly recommend not using them for rope work. The palms are lined with a sort of PVC material and rope will burn right through it. Lesson learned. Otherwise, I love them. Also, they're machine washable. Solid product, as always, from Youngstown.

Great pair of utility gloves, XXL fits my large hands just right! Give them a few days of use to soften up.
